We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about working with diverse populations, including international students navigating cultural adjustment, academic stress, anxiety, depression, and identity-related concerns.
We welcome clinicians from all backgrounds. Fluency in Mandarin or other Asian languages is highly valued, as many of our clients prefer to receive care in their native language.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including assessment of psychological, emotional, and behavioral concernsDiagnose mental health conditions in accordance with DSM-5 criteriaProvide medication management, including prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting psychiatric medicationsOffer psychotherapy (as appropriate based on clinicians scope and interest)Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plansOrder and interpret laboratory tests when appropriate to support safe medication managementCoordinate care and refer clients to other providers or higher levels of care when neededMaintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation (e.g., psychiatric evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans)Collaborate with therapists, consulting psychiatrists, and other team members to ensure integrated careParticipate in team meetings, case consultations, and supervision as neededEnsure compliance with all ethical, legal, and professional standards in the state of MassachusettsFoster a warm, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment for a diverse client population (including international and Mandarin-speaking clients)Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in MassachusettsActive and unrestricted DEA registration in MassachusettsStrong clinical documentation skills and ability to complete notes promptlyCommitment to ethical, client-centered, and culturally responsive careStrong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary teamNew graduates are welcome to apply; supervision and support will be providedPreferred Qualifications
