    Summary
    Provides psychosocial assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and information/referral services on a consultation basis. Works collaboratively with the management team to ensure the efficient utilization of resources for positive patient outcomes.

    Job Duties

    Employs counseling skills in order to help patient/families understand, accept and follow recommendations for care and to restore patient to optimum social and health adjustment.Stays up-to-date on current trends and researches the availability of community agencies and community resources for social, emotional, and financial assistance.Intervenes in crisis situations, and effectively applies crisis intervention theory techniques.Identifies and records clinical, psychosocial and financial barriers to a smooth transition across the healthcare network.Participates in a monthly or yearly audit or review to ensure adherence to laws and other federal guidelines.Works collaboratively with the patients and patient's social support system to establish and implement a plan.Interviews the patient to complete the initial psychosocial evaluation.Reports suspected cases of child and adult abuse/neglect/exploitation.


    Minimum Qualifications

    Master’s Degree in Social Work1 year experience working as a social worker or applicable mental health experience.Ability to work effectively with people from a broad range of backgrounds.Ability to adhere to the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics.Knowledge of patient rights and laws relative to those rights, such as HIPAA.Knowledge of psychological principles and theories.Must possess a high degree of emotional intelligence, and empathy towards others.Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

    Summary

    This position is a hybrid role that integrates front-desk administrative duties, patient care responsibilities, and diagnostic imaging expertise. This position serves as the initial point of contact for patients, ensuring a high level of customer service, efficient patient flow, and accurate diagnostic imaging. This role supports providers, clinical team, and administrative staff in patient registration, clinical support, and radiologic imaging while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and facilitating care delivery while upholding a high standard of customer service.

    Job Duties

    Coordinate and perform patient check-in/check-out, ensuring accurate registration and information collection. Verify insurance eligibility, collect payments (co-pays or self-pay fee), and process referrals. Schedule appointments while optimizing clinic workflow. Maintain electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring accuracy and compliance. Measurement and collection of patient data including temperature, pulse, oxygenation saturation, respirations, blood pressure, height, weight, and in indicated pediatric patients, length, and head circumference. Ensure accurate documentation in the medical record. Assist providers with the collection of patient information including reason for visit, chief complaint, health history, allergies and current medications for provider review. Complete patient rooming process and implement standard operating procedures to expedite the care process and provide patient comfort. Identify patient risks and communicate them to the provider. Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sanitation and supply stocking. Support patient procedures and assist with medical examinations. Complete follow-up phone calls to all patients within two to three days post discharge. Follow strict radiation safety protocols, including collimation, shielding, and exposure minimization. Maintain detailed records of performed procedures, diagnostic findings, and provider instructions. Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients undergoing imaging, ensuring compliance and comfort. Prepare, operate, and maintain radiologic imaging equipment and ensure the safety of the imaging environment. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring accurate positioning, technique, and image clarity. Behaves in a professional and empathetic manner to build trust, comfort, understanding and relationships with consumers and the secondary guest(s). Maintaining all required logs includes but is not limited to quality control logs and stat cart checks. Administer medications and vaccinations per provider orders and established protocols within their scope of practice. Collect and prepare lab specimens and complete necessary requisitions.
    Minimum QualificationsTechnical School Diploma Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist program (AART). 2 years diagnostic imaging experience in a healthcare setting. Medical & Radiologic Knowledge: Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, radiation physics, and clinical workflows. Technical Proficiency: Competency in EMR systems, radiology PACS software, scheduling platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite. Patient-Centered Communication: Ability to explain imaging procedures, alleviate patient anxiety, and provide patient education. Multitasking & Problem-Solving: Ability to manage high patient volumes, coordinate scheduling, and ensure smooth imaging workflows. Compliance & Safety: Strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and radiation safety guidelines.     Provides direct and indirect patient care including assisting the physician in diagnostic and/or invasive cardiac, electrophysiology, structural heart, and peripheral procedures.
