Responsibilities:Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilitiesAssist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasksImplement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accuratelyTransport and accompany clients to medical appointments, community activities, and recreational outingsAdminister medications and follow health and safety protocols as directedFoster independence and skill-building through positive reinforcement and person-centered approachesCommunicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members regarding client needs and progressRequirements:High school diploma or GED requiredPrior experience as a DSP, caregiver, home health aide, or in a related field preferredValid California driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to pass a background check and health screeningCPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and compassionate demeanorAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts as neededAbout Us:Legacy SLS Inc is a trusted provider of supportive living services in the Burbank, CA area, committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.
