    HVAC Superintendent

    Location: Spokane, WA | Hayden, ID | Sandpoint, ID

    Pay Range: $38 - $48per hour, depending on experience

    Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Scheduling Available | 4-Day Work Week!

    Legacy Heating & Cooling is a growing commercial HVAC contractor serving the Inland Northwest. As our company continues to expand, we're looking for an experienced HVAC Superintendent who can help elevate field performance, develop team members, and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys being in the field, coaching teams, and building a culture of accountability and excellence. You'll spend approximately 80% of your time in the field and 20% in the office, working directly with crews to improve performance, provide mentorship, and ensure successful project delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    Team Leadership and Field Development

    Mentor, coach, and train installers to improve productivity, workmanship, and technical skillsSet performance expectations and promote accountability in the fieldDevelop team members and help prepare future foremen and leadersProvide ongoing field support, problem-solving, and technical guidanceFoster a culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement

    Project Oversight and Execution

    Oversee commercial HVAC installation projects from startup through completionPlan and coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and project schedulesMonitor labor budgets and field productivity to ensure profitable project executionReview project drawings, specifications, and installation requirementsEnsure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to company quality standardsCoordinate with project managers, customers, subcontractors, and vendorsIdentify and resolve field challenges before they impact project timelines

    Quality and Safety

    Conduct jobsite visits and quality inspectionsEnsure compliance with company safety procedures and industry regulationsVerify installations meet project specifications and customer expectationsMaintain high standards of workmanship across all projects

    Required Qualifications

    Strong background in commercial HVAC installationProven experience leading crews and driving field performancePrevious Superintendent, Foreman, or field leadership experienceEPA Certification requiredValid driver's license with an insurable driving recordExperience managing labor, schedules, and project executionAbility to read and interpret blueprints and specificationsExcellent leadership, communication, and coaching skillsStrong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and installation practices06A HVAC Electrical License is a plusSheet metal fabrication experience is a plusNATE Certification is a plus
