    Overview:

In this role, you'll provide leadership and direct oversight of Legacy's revenue integrity and compliance efforts.     Responsibilities:

    Operational responsibility for the function and effectiveness of HIM Operations (Release of Information, Analysis, EMPI, Scanning), Hospital and Professional Coding, and PB Central Support (Clinic Registration, Referrals/Auth). Provides leadership to units across sites. Works to integrate services within area of responsibility to maximize efficiency, quality, and excellent customer service. Works to develop, implement, and maximize the health information and clinic front-end revenue cycle for Legacy Health.

    Works collaboratively with designated Revenue Cycle and Clinical leaders, other directors, and Senior Management to develop and further the vision and strategies of Legacy Health. Communicates clear expectations of results to department managers and assists with the resolution of complex issues and problems. Works to ensure regulatory compliance for departments integrated across multi-states (OR & WA). Responsible for compliance with all applicable laws relative to department oversight.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    Bachelors Degree in business, healthcare administration or related field or equivalent experience required. Masters preferred.

    Experience:

    Minimum of six years progressively responsible experience within health care environment, with experience in managing hospital medical records department. Must have demonstrated understanding of compliance processes and procedures.

    Skills:

    Knowledge of financial and marketing systems. Knowledge of administrative and managerial systems, roles and experience. Knowledge of health care issues, demographics, financing, policy changes. Knowledge of computer systems and integrating software to maximize work process efficiencies. Leadership ability to work throughout the system to accomplish the objectives of the organization. Organizational skills both to function independently and to work closely with other professionals using a team approach. Judgment skills to make appropriate decisions. Ability to handle multiple demands and to respond rapidly to changing priorities. Licensure:

    Registered Health Information Administration (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred.

    Overview: The Associate General Counsel - Employment and Labor Law will report to the Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, serving as a trusted advisor on employment and labor law matters for the organization.

    This role provides counsel on legal compliance, workplace investigations, organization policies, labor law and labor relations, including union organizing, collective bargaining, and contract administration, representation before administrative agencies, and defense of legal actions.

    Expertise in federal and state employment and labor laws and regulations, including discrimination and harassment, disability, leaves of absence, wage and hour laws and regulations, the National Labor Relations Act, and experience with employment litigation is required.

    The position is ideal for experienced attorneys who have proven success independently manag ing complex and confidential legal issues, who can collaborate effectively with a diverse management team, and who can provide guidance in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

    This is a hybrid role. On days when onsite activity is not required , individuals in this role may work remotely.     Responsibilities:

    A Post-Doctoral Research Fellow is an MD or Ph.D. in a scientific discipline. Post-Doctoral Research Fellows may provide clinical and/or scientific services, according to their level of responsibility, under the supervision of the Principal Investigator with the common goal of accelerating the development of new technologies and treatments in assigned area.

    Drs. Barbara Sorg and Soren Impey are seeking an early career doctoral-level trainee with a background in neuroscience or related discipline to contribute to basic science studies of memory and cocaine use disorder. Strong candidates will have research expertise with rodent behavior, basic molecular biology, use of viral vectors, and stereotaxic surgery. Candidates with background in functional genomics and biostatistical/bioinformatic approaches (e.g. python or R) preferred.

    The postdoctoral associate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities, including planning and directing experiments, data analysis, publication of research findings, and presentation at conferences. The project is focused on perineuronal nets and is part of a collaborative team located at nearby Oregon Health & Science University, and at Washington State University and Ohio State University.

    Legacy Research Institute (LRI) is a member organization of Legacy Health, a seven-county Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area, community-governed organization.     Responsibilities:

    As a collaborative member of the healthcare team, the Chaplain Associate shall provide spiritual care for patients, families, volunteers, hospital and medical staff; participate in departmental activities as required; perform all duties in ways promoting organizational and departmental missions and values. This job is to be undertaken by employees working unpredictable and irregular hours.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Plans and organizes daily spiritual care for persons in assigned areas. Shares responsibility for pastoral requests within 15-30 minutes after notification for trauma, crisis and emergency ministry. Initiates, responds, follows up and cooperates with hospital and other team members for comprehensive and continuum of care of persons. Provides worship opportunities, rites and sacraments for patients, families and staff. Pastoral care is available for all hospital personnel according to established departmental guidelines. Consults appropriately with community clergy, congregations and agencies, as related to ministry with patients and families. Serves as pastoral resource for educational programs of department, hospital and community when applicable. Complies with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Qualifications:

    Education:

    Bachelor's Degree required. Professional Theological Degree, e.g. M.Div., MTS, BD, desirable, and/or one unit of ACPE Certified Clinical Pastoral Education, or equivalent, required, with one-year ACPE Certified Clinical Pastoral Education desirable.

    Experience:

    One year of full-time Pastoral experience, or equivalent.

    Skills:

    Spiritual perspectives and sensitivity to persons in stress. Ability to listen well and speak with individuals and small groups. Theological competence. Skill with interdisciplinary team cooperation. Excellent communication skills. Skill with interfaith cooperation. Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions. Licensure: Endorsement by Judicatory or equivalent. Certification by Association of Professional Chaplains (APC), National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), or similar cognate group, desirable. Pay Range: USD $32.31 - USD $46.20 /Hr.     Responsibilities: Serves as a critical component of hospital and healthcare security by protecting patients, staff, visitors, and critical assets. Deploys a highly trained Security Working Canine (SWC) to assist with detection, deterrence, and emergency response activities. Performs all standard duties of a Safety/Security Officer II while assuming full responsibility for the care, training, and deployment of the assigned SWC, in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Ensures safe and effective canine operations within sensitive medical environments, respecting patient privacy and regulatory standards. Maintains a secure atmosphere conducive to patient care, going beyond traditional security roles to support a healing and safe environment. Demonstrates advanced knowledge and experience in healthcare security protocols and emergency response procedures. Applies professional canine handling skills in high-stress, dynamic clinical settings. Understands and navigates the unique challenges of hospital and clinical environments, including behavioral health and high-traffic public areas. Collaborates with clinical staff and multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated, effective safety support. Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Satisfactorily complete an LHS approved SWC Handler Academy. Associate's degree/c ollege level coursework in professionally related fields such as criminal justice, social work, psychology, or any social science preferred. The education requirements for DPSST certification may be different from Legacy's education requirements for this job. Experience: Minimum two years prior Corrections, Military, First Responder (law enforcement, fire services, EMS), or comparable Security experience; OR, one year of Legacy Health Officer experience. 2 years of professional SWC. Handling experience preferred. Minimum two years' experience with heavy public contact and an emphasis on customer service required and de-escalation training preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft office applications. Skills Demonstrated interpersonal and effective communication skills, which promote cooperation and teamwork. Performing Use of Force techniques to effect arrests in compliance with local law and Department policy. Demonstrated positive attitude and willingness to address employee conduct issues with both team members and Legacy employees. Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
