Key Responsibilities Perform detailed assessments and provide comprehensive treatments to clinic clients.Maintain regularly scheduled hours and actively engage with patients.Meet or exceed established productivity requirements.Develop and uphold clinical diagnostic and treatment protocols.Ensure availability by phone during regular and off-hours for patient needs.Assist in reviewing and developing educational materials for patients.Supervise healthcare students, fostering their educational growth.Establish and maintain a robust clinical quality assurance program.Supervise non-physician providers regarding psychiatric treatment practices.Interview and advise patients on health and illness prevention strategies.Engage in necessary meetings and participate in the Performance Improvement Program.Perform additional duties as designated, contributing to program enhancement. Qualifications and Experience Medical Doctorate with Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.Current Texas Medical License.Adherence to the Code of Ethics of the professional licensing entity.Fulfillment of continuing education requirements to maintain licensing.Good standing with the professional licensing board.Participation in Medicare, Medicaid, and other reimbursement programs.Ability to meet Legacy Community Health's EPIC proficiency standards.Preferred minimum of 3 years of experience in Psychiatry, focusing on Adult Medicine and Geriatrics. Key Responsibilities Conduct assessments and deliver specialized psychiatric treatment to clients at the Clinic.Maintain pre-determined hours as per the Service Agreement and actively engage with patients during these times.Achieve or surpass productivity benchmarks set by the Chief Medical Officer and Director of Behavioral Health.Develop and uphold clinical diagnostic and treatment protocols for psychiatric care.Provide phone assistance during clinic hours and as scheduled, beyond regular hours.Contribute to the creation and review of patient education materials before their distribution.Supervise health care students engaged with the Clinic for their educational purposes.Establish and manage a clinical quality assurance program.Oversee non-physician providers, including Licensed Therapists, Neuropsychologists, and Behavioral Health Coordinators, regarding psychiatric treatment.Engage with patients on health and illness prevention, including voluntary family planning services in adherence to FQHC guidelines and legal requirements.Attend necessary meetings and actively participate in the Performance Improvement Program.Execute additional duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience Required Board-certified (or Board-eligible) in Psychiatry with a valid Texas License.Strict adherence to the Code of Ethics of the relevant professional licensing entity.Completion of required continuing education hours to maintain professional licensing status.Maintain standing with the respective professional licensing board.Participation in Medicare, Medicaid, and state reimbursement programs, alongside systems from various commercial insurers and health organizations as requested by Legacy.Ability to meet Legacy Community Health s EPIC proficiency standards.While experienced candidates are preferred, residents will be considered.A proven 3-year track record in Psychiatry, with focus areas in Adult Medicine and Geriatrics desired.
