Job Summary
Examines, diagnoses, and treats diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums.
General Accountabilities
Uses masks, gloves, and safety glasses to protect patients and self from infectious diseases.Examines teeth, gums, and related tissues to evaluate dental health, diagnose diseases or abnormalities, and plan appropriate treatments.Administers anesthetics to patients during procedures to limit pain.Performs preventive care and evaluates dental needs to determine changes or trends in patterns of dental disease.Advises patients on preventive dental care.Perform dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and implants.Stay up to date on developments in dentistry.*The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Job Qualifications
Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery or comparable degreeExperience: 5-7 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
