The Shipping Clerk receives, prepares, and ships products to customers or other locations. They verify order accuracy, package items securely, print shipping labels, and arrange pickups with shipping carriers. They also maintain shipping documentation, track shipments, and assist with inventory management to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and package orders for shipment.Verify products and quantities against packing slips and customer orders.Create and print shipping labels and required documentation.Coordinate shipments with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, or freight companies.Track shipments and resolve delivery issues when necessary.Maintain accurate shipping records and update inventory systems.Receive and inspect incoming shipments.Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Follow company policies and shipping regulations.Required Skills:
