    Account Representative

    Position Summary

    The Account Representative serves as a key point of contact for customers by providing product information, processing orders, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues. This role works closely with the Regional Sales Manager, Manufacturer Representatives, Engineering, and Sales Teams to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure accurate order fulfillment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Customer Service & Sales Support

    Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding products and servicesProcess customer orders and enter them accurately into the ERP systemProvide quotes, pricing, and delivery informationSupport the Regional Sales Manager and Manufacturer Representatives with customer needsCompare customer parts requests with quoted products to ensure accuracy

    Order Management

    Coordinate with customers and internal teams regarding order status and delivery exceptionsReview open order reports and proactively follow up with customersAnalyze sales activity to identify missed opportunities and potential growth

    Problem Resolution

    Investigate customer complaints and assist in resolving issuesEscalate unresolved concerns to the appropriate department when necessaryMaintain positive customer relationships through professional communication

    Team Collaboration

    Perform administrative analysis and support tasks for the Engineering and Sales TeamsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and departmental projectsComplete additional duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Required Education & Experience

    High School Diploma or equivalentOne to three years of customer service or account support experienceEquivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered

    POSITION SUMMARY:

     

    The Applications Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise and application support for Leader Tech's portfolio of advanced materials, including conductive elastomers, ferrite materials, EMI absorbers, thermal interface materials, conductive foams, and related EMI shielding and thermal management solutions.

     

    This position serves as the primary technical resource for customers, sales personnel, and distributors by evaluating application requirements, recommending material solutions, assisting with product implementation, and supporting new business opportunities. The Applications Engineer works closely with customer design teams, internal engineering, product management, and manufacturing to develop practical solutions that meet electrical, thermal, environmental, and mechanical performance requirements.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Customer & Sales Support

    Provide technical support to customers, distributors, and sales personnel regarding Leader Tech material solutions.Evaluate customer requirements and recommend appropriate conductive elastomer, ferrite, EMI absorber, thermal interface, and grounding materials.Participate in customer meetings, design reviews, and technical presentations.Assist customers with material selection, performance optimization, and product implementation.Respond to technical inquiries regarding material properties, specifications, testing, and performance characteristics.Support sales opportunities through technical consultation and application recommendations.Conduct customer and distributor training on product capabilities and best practices.

     

    Application Engineering

    Collaborate with customer electrical, mechanical, EMC, and thermal engineers to develop effective solutions.Analyze application requirements involving EMI shielding, grounding, thermal management, environmental sealing, and signal integrity.Review customer drawings, specifications, and test data to determine suitable material solutions.Assist with prototype evaluation and validation testing.Support customer qualification and approval processes.Develop application notes, technical presentations, white papers, and product documentation.

     

    Product & Market Support

    Serve as the internal technical expert for conductive elastomers, ferrites, absorbers, thermal interface materials, and related technologies.Conduct competitive product evaluations and benchmarking activities.Work with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve technical issues and customer concerns.Assist in identifying emerging applications, market trends, and growth opportunities.

    Preferred

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Controller is responsible to assist with the financial affairs and accounting operations of the organization. Maintains a system to retain financial reports and implement a comprehensive set of controls and budgets to mitigate risk. Responsible for the preparation of financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements and reports with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management. This position ensures compliance of the organization with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other applicable standards and legislation.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    •  Manages the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, Human Resources, and Operations, etc.

    •  Maintains current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards.

    •  Supervises employees performing financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, journal entries, and budgeting duties.

    •  Develops internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.

    •  Prepares or directs preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, or reports required by regulatory agencies.

    •  Provides direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures and efficient control and utilization of financial resources.

    •  Analyzes the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.

    •  Advises management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions.

    •  Monitors financial activities and details, such as cash flow and reserve levels, to ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.

    •  Evaluates needs for procurement of funds and investment of surpluses and makes appropriate recommendations.

    •  Performs budget vs. actual analysis for the Corporate Division on a monthly basis.

    •  Prepares various cash, AP discount, and capitalization reports on a monthly basis.

    •  Reviews and approves applications for new credit arrangements.

    •  Assists with annual review of inventory and analyzes variances in the ERP system. Calculates variances and reports significant issues to management.

    •  Prepares annual budget for equipment expenditures and tracks budget variances.

    •  Maintains established contracts for the organization.

    •  Assists with training of accounting and administrative staff as needed.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    •  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent, is desired.

    •  CPA required or equivalent is desired.

    •  Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by management.

    •  Directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization. 5-10 years of experience in coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and accounting for investments.
