    What You’ll Do: Install, program & test low voltage/security systems, verify performance, and support facilities that can’t fail.

    We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician with strong experience in cable termination to join our team. This role is responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting low-voltage systems including structured cabling, data, voice, and security systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of producing clean, standards-compliant terminations.

    Key Responsibilities

    Install, route, and secure low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber, coax)Perform accurate terminations for:RJ45 jacks and plugsPatch panels66/110 blocksFiber (LC, SC, ST connectors)Test and certify cabling using appropriate testing equipment (Fluke or equivalent)Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project documentationLabel and document all cable runs according to project standardsTroubleshoot connectivity and performance issuesMaintain clean and organized work areas, including racks and IDF/MDF closetsFollow all safety guidelines and site protocols

    Qualifications

    1–3+ years of low-voltage or structured cabling experienceStrong termination skills (copper and/or fiber preferred)Familiarity with TIA/EIA standards and best practicesAbility to use cable testers, tone/probe kits, and basic hand toolsAbility to read prints and follow scope of workReliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites

This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure job site by controlling access, verifying credentials, and communicating with site safety personnel.

    Responsibilities

    Verify and scan employee and visitor badges at the site entrance.Ensure all personnel entering the facility have proper authorization and clearance.Communicate immediately with the Safety Team regarding unauthorized personnel, badge issues, or access concerns.Maintain accurate access records and incident documentation.Follow all site security procedures and company policies.Provide professional customer service while maintaining security standards.Monitor the guard station and remain alert throughout the shift.Report suspicious activity or safety concerns promptly.

    Qualifications

    Prior security, gate attendant, access control, or customer service experience preferred.OSHA 10 Certification preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.Comfortable standing and sitting for extended periods throughout the shift.Ability to remain focused and attentive in a fast-paced environment.
