    :The Hyperbaric Medicine Safety Director is a Certified Hyperbaric Technician who works under the direction of the Clinical Manager/Clinical Coordinator and Medical Director, and in collaboration with the Medical Director and Hyperbaric nurses and technicians to administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Physician. These include the duties of the Hyperbaric Technician, and in addition to being a chamber operator, the Safety Director is responsible for safe and effective day-to-day operation maintenance of the hyperbaric chamber(s) and related support systems. The Safety Director will also be the point person for the assessment of materials that are appropriate for use in and around hyperbaric chambers. The Safety Director holds the authority to make the necessary recommendations and to implement new safety procedures, as well as restrict or remove any potentially hazardous supply or equipment items from the chamber.Education: Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent AND must have attended a UHMS or NBDHMT approved Hyperbaric Safety Director Training Course Experience: Required: One year of experience as a Hyperbaric Tech Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-task environment Strong team player Licensure/Certification/Registration: Required: Certified by either NBDHT or BNACB within one year of assuming role of Safety Director Read Less

    The Emergency Department nurse provides professional nursing care during the initial phase of acute illness or trauma for patients of all ages. The ED nurse triages and determines priority of care based on physical, psychological and social needs as well as factors influencing patient flow through the emergency care system. The ED nurse works quickly to assess the needs of each patient, prioritize care based on the critical nature, works to stabilize the patient, initiate treatment, discharge the patient after the emergency is over or make arrangements for a longer hospital stay.

    Education:
    Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
    Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
