Landscape Foreman Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Landscape Foreman to be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of plants, trees, and shrubs and the ability to manage a team of landscape workers.
Landscape Foreman Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise landscape projects, including preparing estimates, planning the landscape design, scheduling work, and supervising work crewsConsult with clients to determine their landscaping needsEnsure that landscaping projects are completed on time and meet customer expectationsPerform hands-on tasks such as planting, mowing, pruning, and trimmingMonitor and maintain the quality of the landscaping projectsEnsure that proper safety and security protocols are followedTrain and oversee landscape workers and ensure that they are following company policies and procedures

Lawn Ranger is a long established in the metro area specializing in commercial lawn care and landscaping dating back to the 1980’s. We are currently seeking a highly experienced field-working manager for our fertilizer/pesticide program. In this role you will be responsible for managing our fertilizer/pesticide program and applying products on our customers’ properties as well as assisting with winter operations as an optional year long position.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a clean recordValid applicator license or ability to study for and pass the test before springMust have, or be willing to obtain, Federal DOT Medical cardMinnesota Department of Agriculture Fertilizer Applicator LicenseCustomer service with a horticulture backgroundMust have a thorough knowledge of different fertilizers, fungicides, and herbicidesKnowledge of calibration and mixing of productsAble to read and understand English, Spanish speaking a plusMust be able to work independently and efficiently and comply with all federal, state, local, and company regulations regarding the application of pesticides and fertilizerBe organized and familiar with computersResponsibilities
Manage our fertilizer/pesticide program including scheduling jobs and product inventoryLoad lawn care products and tools into truck dailyComplete daily tasks independently and efficientlyAssist in other roles when necessary, including snow removal, landscaping, lawn mowing, grounds care, and shop organizationPhysical Requirements
