Scope of Position
The Accounting Supervisor will oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger. This role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting for the organization and various departments and assists the Controller in preparing the Annual Financial Audit. This role requires ongoing financial data analysis and reporting on overall financial performance and trends. The Accounting Supervisor is expected to collaborate, mentor, and work with Finance Team Members, as well as other departments, on projects as requested.
Responsibilities and Duties
Financial Reporting: Prepare period, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements for the bank and tax accountants.
Accounting: Create journal entries, account reconciliation and financial reports for the various entities. Coordinate the efforts of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Compliance: Assist the Controller with coordinating the annual external audit; work with tax advisors and regulatory agencies as needed.
Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and support audit processes.
Team Leadership: Mentor and train members of the accounting/finance team.
Strategic Partnership: Collaborate on financial processes and reporting requirements.
System Management: Maintain the NetSuite ERP system, including reporting, workflows, and integration with other platforms.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
· CPA or MBA a plus.
Experience
· 4 years minimum of progressive accounting/finance experience.
· Supervisory experience preferred.
· Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP a plus.
Skills and Competencies
· Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
· Strong accounting, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite or similar).
· Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
· Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
· Proven ability to streamline processes and implement system improvements.
· High integrity, dependability, and a results-oriented mindset.

Essential Job Functions

· Vision: Close vision for reviewing detailed financial reports, distance vision for presentations, and the ability to adjust focus for prolonged computer use.
Cognitive and Sensory Requirements
· Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex financial reports, legal documents, and regulatory guidelines. Must effectively respond to inquiries from internal teams, auditors, tax professionals, or regulatory agencies and present financial information clearly to senior management or partners.
· Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in calculating financial metrics (e.g., percentages, interest, proportions) and applying basic algebra for budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
· Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and draw valid conclusions from financial and operational information. Must interpret technical instructions and manage abstract and concrete variables in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
· Office Setting: The role is primarily performed in a professional office environment in Ohio. The office is climate-controlled with a quiet noise level, conducive to focused financial work.
· Extended Hours: Occasional extended hours or weekend work may be required during financial close periods, audits, or critical reporting deadlines.
· Travel Conditions: Travel to restaurant locations may involve exposure to varying environments, such as kitchen or dining areas, with moderate noise levels or temperature fluctuations.
· Technology Use: Extensive use of computers, financial software (e.g., NetSuite ERP), and communication platforms, requiring reliable access to technology for both onsite and remote work.

Job Summary:
Ensures that guests receive friendly, efficient and courteous service while supervising all hourly restaurant staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs the duties of the General Manager in his/her absence.Directly supervises 5 to 40 Team Members in the restaurant at any one time.Supervises hourly restaurant staff, ensuring Guests receive prompt and courteous service.Schedules hourly staff to meet business level requirements.Monitor food preparation and presentations to comply with company standards.May participate in hiring and onboarding process.Performs opening and closing administrative procedures which may require driving a car.Assists profit and loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining proper inventory levels, managing labor, reviewing financial reports and taking appropriate actions.May perform the functions of any hourly position in the absence or shortage of staff.Performs consistent and thorough documentation of procedures.Ensures that guest checks are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.Addresses guest concerns, requests, injuries or accidents following LaRosa's procedures.Gives constructive feedback to hourly Team Members to help them do their jobs better.Works with Management to ensure that newly hired Team Members receive orientation training.Follows LEAN processes as defined for both their role and the pizzeria.Works with Team Members throughout the location on a daily basis including: Store Management, Front of the House and Back of the House staff.Other duties as assigned.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
