Role Description This is an on-site role for a Medical Receptionist/Front Desk position based in Lancaster, PA. The responsibilities include welcoming and assisting patients, managing appointment scheduling, maintaining records and documentation, answering phone calls with professional etiquette, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the medical office. The role also requires knowledge of medical terminology to effectively assist staff and communicate with patients. Knowledge in particular of allergy/immunology and/or Athena EMR helpful. Qualifications Proficiency in Appointment Scheduling and Medical Office administration Strong Receptionist Duties and Phone Etiquette skills Understanding of Medical Terminology Excellent communication and customer service skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in healthcare or administration are advantageous
