Responsibilities include: providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children, planning activities for the children, communicating with families, and following ODJFS guidelines and Step Up To Quality rules.
Planning: Creating daily lesson plans, age-appropriate activities, and schedules that include physical activity, rest, and playtimeTeaching: Providing education through play, music, arts and crafts, reading, writing, and physical activitiesCaring: Maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment for childrenObserving: Assessing and documenting each child's health, skills, behavior, growth, and development.Communicating: Interacting with children and parents to discuss their progressSkills: passionate about working with children, flexible, dependable, team player, responsible, and good communication skills.
