Position Summary:
This role leads day to day gate operations and the guest entry experience. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people and brings a confident, upbeat, action oriented, customer service mindset.

Focus: daily gate operations, staffing, guest transactions, scanning, cash handling, and event entry needs.
Staffing and supervision
Hire and train the Gate Ambassador Lead who covers in the Gates Operations Manager’s absenceWith the Director of Guest Services, hire and schedule Gate Ambassadors for day, evening, and overnight shiftsSupervise, train, and schedule all Shuttle AmbassadorsMonitor and approve timecards in the ADP system in coordination with the Director of Guest ServicesGuest entry operations and technology
Train employees to process guest transactions and use required systemsTrain employees on scanner operation and partner with IT on oversight, troubleshooting, and repair supportOversee the scanning committee including meeting dates, agenda, minutes, distribution, and follow up on processesTickets, passes, and access control
Negotiate special event ticket requirements and coordinate gate executionManage distribution of contractor passes, review policy annually, and remove amenities when necessaryOversee Google Docs for the Complimentary Ticket ListCash and deposit accountability
Manage and protect gate change fundsResponsible for daily deposits of all gate proceeds collectedWork with the Accounting Manager to verify deposit accuracyProvide change to gate booths when neededGuest materials and booth readiness
Ensure ample supply of printed guest materials for Gate AmbassadorsEnsure booths are stocked at the start and end of shiftsGate properties
Responsible for care and cleaning of Lakeside gate propertiesRetreat Season Responsibilities
Focus: planning, system readiness, policy refresh, training prep, and supporting retreat and off season operations.
Operational planning and readiness
Evaluate in season performance and update procedures, checklists, and training materialsRefresh gate policies annually including contractor passes and complimentary ticket processesCoordinate with IT to confirm scanners, devices, and related systems are ready for next seasonCommittee and process management
Continue oversight of the scanning committee as needed to improve processes, documentation, and accountabilityFacility and equipment care
Support care, cleaning, and upkeep of gate properties and operational spacesFlag maintenance needs early so fixes happen before the next peak seasonCross department support
Assist and support Conference and Events, Advancement, IT, Administration, Programming, or other departments as neededComplete special projects as assigned

Position Overview
The Teen Coordinator (ages 14-17) plays a vital role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and spiritually enriching environment for teens at Lakeside Chautauqua during its summer season. This position has dual responsibilities: to oversee and coordinate scheduling and engagement at “The Underground”—a dedicated youth hangout space for ages 14 and up—and to serve as the primary program lead for teens ages 14–17.
Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesPlan, implement, and evaluate creative, joyful, faith-forming, pedagogically sound, and age-appropriate programming for youth ages 14-17, including spiritual formation, recreation, service opportunities, and leadership development.Serve as the lead staff presence for The Underground, implement a weekly schedule of supervised drop-in times, structured activities, structured spiritual formation engagement, special events, and guest interactions.Establish and manage a weekly schedule of adult youth volunteers .to assist in staffing The Underground.Foster a safe, welcoming, fun, and inclusive environment that encourages faith formation and investigation, friendship, and broader community engagement.Collaborate with Lutheran Week (June 21-26, 2026) and Camp Meeting Week (July 26-30, 2026) leadership regarding incorporation into our youth programming. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Religious Life.Administration & CollaborationThe Teen Coordinator will work in collaboration with The Director of Religious Life to prepare and manage youth programming budgets, taking into consideration all Lakeside Chautauqua administrative procedures.Participate in regular staff meetings, offering updates on teen activities.Prepare and report weekly attendance metrics to the Director of Religious Life.Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, the Youth Advisory Team, and the wider community regarding upcoming events and opportunities for teens.Program EvaluationThe Teen Coordinator will gather feedback, attendance, and assess teen program effectiveness throughout the season.Make recommendations for improvements and provide a summary report at the end of the summer season, due no later than 31 Aug 2026.Qualifications
REQUIRED:Demonstrated experience in teen faith-forming ministry, or related field.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to cultivate a positive, joyful, inclusive, and supportive environment for participants, their families, and volunteer staff.Social media management, AI (LLM) tools, and videography skills.Undergo a background check. STRONGLY PREFERRED: Excellent worship music leadership skills.A Bachelors' Degree in education, Bible, music education, Christian Ministry, or related field.Live within a reasonable driving distance of Lakeside, Chautauqua, suitable for daily commute.Compensation
Total Salary: $10,000, June– August, covering all teen programming responsibilities. The Coordinator will be paid during June- August according to the normal employee pay schedule (every 2 weeks), as outlined by Lakeside’s HR department. Fringe Benefits: 1 season gate pass, and 1 season auto pass. (fair market value: $1500). Please note that all fringe benefits will be taxed according to IRS regulations found in Title 26, CFR § 1.61-21, For tax purposes, you will receive a 1099-REC containing the fair market value amounts for these benefits at the end of this year.

Summary:
Perform a variety of tasks in the Accounting department. Reports directly to the VP of Finance. Ensure that all deposits and payments are properly posted to correct general ledger accounts. Maintain integrity of the vault drawer by proper implementation of cash control procedures. Prepare and enter bank deposits and check request transactions into a computerized general ledger system. Assist in account reconciliation and reporting preparation.

Maintain the integrity of the vault cash drawer by proper implementation of cash controlMaintain Customer, Vendor and W9 System Prepare deposits and change orders going to and from the Bank.Prepare journals and post revenue deposits.Help with monthly reconciliation of checking accounts.Ensure proper coding and verify all check requests, purchase quotes/orders, and auto payments.Issue checks and payments in a timely manner, ensure Positive Pay Exports and monitor daily fraud preventions.Prepare and review monthly Employee credit card statements.Maintain spreadsheet schedulesReconciliation of General Ledger AccountsAccount analysis and allocation of funds to the correct general ledger accountsSupport Accounting in the day-to-day functions with the monthly, quarterly, annual closing of accounts and finalization of audit.Assist VP of Finance with report preparations and any other work that may require additional support.Qualifications:
