Bag Room Staff (Golf Department)
Position: Part-Time, Seasonal (Tuesdays–Sundays through mid-October)
Overview:
Lafayette Club is seeking friendly, dependable individuals to join our Golf Department as Bag Room Staff. This is a member-facing role that provides essential support to our golf operations and ensures an excellent experience for members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist members and guests with bag drop and service area needs.
Pull clubs from storage according to the daily tee sheet.
Maintain a clean, organized service area and bag room.
Support merchandise sales as needed.
Operate and maintain golf carts.
Provide member services, including tee time support.
Perform driving range duties and ranger responsibilities.
Assist with starting groups on the first tee.
Clean and maintain clubs used on a daily basis.
Assist Golf Professionals with other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to safely operate a golf cart.
Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly attitude.
Availability to work a seasonal schedule: Tuesdays through Sundays.
Prior golf or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
Schedule & Duration:
This is a part-time, seasonal position running through mid-October. Flexible hours with a focus on member service during peak golf season.
