    We’re looking for an experienced and approachable HR Generalist to support our Milwaukee campuses. If you're a people-first HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment and is ready to help shape an inclusive and positive workplace culture—this role is for you.


    What a Day in the Life of a Human Resources Generalist Looks Like:
    • Serve as a trusted first point of contact for employees, offering support with professionalism and empathy.
    • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for Milwaukee campus positions—sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding great talent.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop creative, inclusive recruiting strategies that reflect our mission and values.
    • Coordinate pre-employment screenings, job offers, and seamless onboarding experiences.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations (e.g., ADA, FMLA, FLSA, Title VII).
    • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance, and workplace concerns with a solutions-focused mindset.
    • Maintain and update employee records and HRIS data, as well as support HR reporting and metrics.
    • Promote positive engagement through employee recognition efforts, events, and morale-boosting initiatives.
    • Participate in fact findings and help ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful work environment.
    • Support the performance management process and promote professional development.
    • Work closely with the Director of People & Culture to align HR efforts with agency-wide goals.
    • Juggle multiple priorities while staying organized, focused, and people-centered.


    What You Bring to the Table:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field—or equivalent experience.
    • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting and generalist HR experience.

    • Experience in mergers and acquisitions/change management strongly preferred
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high emotional intelligence.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal labor laws and best practices.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and follow-through.
    • Experience with ADP Workforce Now and applicant tracking systems a plus.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    • A collaborative, flexible attitude and commitment to continuous learning.
    • Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    What a day in the life of a Treatment Technician looks like:

    Be there for the youth, their families, and other support teams. This includes positive role modeling, showing youth how to regulate emotions, building healthy relationships, and teaching life skills.Planning & leading activities, conducting daily routines in an engaging, structured wayGuiding youth when things get tough, using verbal de-escalation techniques, you will learnKeeping track of what’s happening and completing appropriate documentationGiving rides in our agency vehicles for community stuffProtecting our youth by honoring our privacy practices

    What you bring to the table:

    At least a high school diploma, GED, or equivalentAt least 21 years oldValid Driver's License and a good recordKnow your way around a computer and MS OfficePossess patience, understanding & trauma-focused care, especially when things get roughCelebrate different cultures, backgrounds, and abilitiesAbility to be physically engaged and lift at least 30 lbs as we interact with young, active youth. In rare cases, you might need to intervene to keep everyone safe physically.

Lad Lake is seeking quality applicants to meet the critical needs of children in various SE Wisconsin counties. This community-based position involves working with a child in your surrounding area. We serve several counties, including Washington, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Dodge, Walworth, Milwaukee, and Jefferson.

    You will engage in weekly activities with your client to achieve specific goals that typically last 1-3 hours. This part-time paid position includes travel and expense allocations. Weekly hours depend on the number of cases you choose to work with. Typically, evening and weekend hours are required.

    JOB SUMMARY

    Responsible for supervising the assigned client, building positive relationships, being a role model, and supporting clients in their mental health recovery.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    Model behavior and act as a role model.Provide quality activities that align with client’s goalsBuild trust through commitment and consistency.Encourage the child to reach their full potential.Maintain open communication with families, supervisors, and county staffAttend Plan of Care meetings and monthly supervision as requiredEnter case notes for each meetingReport any criminal activity, abuse, or unusual happenings to your immediate supervisor/county crisis lineMeet Lad Lake training requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    You must be 21 or older.Must show proof of degrees, certifications, and specific skillsMust have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.Must show proof of 100,000/300,000 Bodily Injury Auto Liability Insurance and 100,000 Property Damage Auto Liability Insurance.Must have good communication skills.
