Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Prospect, OH
Pay: $52,000–$60,000 per year, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (Overtime may be required.)
Job Summary
LaborMax Staffing is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Prospect, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLC programming, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment. This position offers a stable first-shift schedule with opportunities for overtime.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.Program and troubleshoot PLC systems.Operate machining equipment as needed.Assist with equipment changeovers.Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble machinery.Safely operate a forklift.Support continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain a safe and organized work environment.Qualifications
Previous industrial maintenance experience preferred.PLC programming experience required.Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.Electrical maintenance experience is a plus.Experience using hand and power tools.Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.Forklift experience preferred.Ability to work within tight tolerances.Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.Skills

Job Duties
Coordinate daily schedules for truck drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.Dispatch drivers and manage transportation activities across multiple locations.Oversee scale operations and update equipment movements in Remis.Verify trailers and containers are loaded correctly before entering the scale.Operate truck scales, cameras, scanners, and printers to ensure accurate load processing.Maintain equipment inventory logs and keep dispatch tracking boards current.Complete and organize all required transportation paperwork each day.Schedule appointments for pickups and deliveries at company facilities, remote yards, and customer locations.Monitor driver electronic logs (E-Logs) and ensure DOT hours-of-service compliance.Train drivers on dispatch systems and in-cab technology, reporting equipment issues to the Transportation Manager.Plan driver schedules 1–2 days in advance and communicate schedule changes with customers as needed.Work closely with Yard Operations to coordinate truck flow, material needs, and load changes.Perform other duties as assigned.What We're Looking For

* Perform inventory checks of merchandise and packing materials for daily shipping.
* Understand, comply, and ensure that packaged products meet quality standards of customers including but not limited to products weight tolerances, overall appearances, DOT Labeling, and batch/identification numbers.
