Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced energetic person with great personality and customer service to join the team at our successful store. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for operating the meat department to the high standards set forth by the company. You will trim and prepare standard cuts of meat as specified in-store guidelines and follow the store’s meat merchandising plan. The Meat Cutter’s goal is to drive sales within the meat department and maximize profitability.
Responsibilities
Cut and trim meat using knives and power equipmentPackage and display meat in an attractive mannerReceive and inspect meat as it arrives to the storeEnsure the cold chain is unbroken and meat remains high quality Follow high standards of sanitation and quality controlQualifications
Experience using meat cutting equipmentAbility to stand for long periods and regularly lift 30lbs
