LIVE-IN PROPERTY MANAGER / HANDYMAN – SOUTH TEXAS RANCH
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on person or preferably a couple to take care of a private family ranch and vacation property in South T
This is not mainly a cattle or cowboy job.
We need a jack-of-all-trades who can keep the property clean, organized, working, and ready for the owner and guests.
You should be able to:
Fix and troubleshoot basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and equipment problemsMaintain vehicles, UTVs, tractors, boats, generators, pumps, and toolsTake care of houses, barns, pool, roads, landscaping, fences, and general property maintenanceSupervise a housekeeper and occasional ranch helpWork with contractors when a repair is beyond your abilityNotice problems and fix them before the owner has to askImprovise and solve problems when outside help is not immediately availableKeep everything clean, organized, and ready to useWe want someone who is dependable, organized, mechanically inclined, and not afraid to work with their hands.
A couple is preferred, especially where one person is strong in maintenance and mechanical work and the other can assist with property organization, housekeeping oversight, guest readiness, and general ranch duties.
Ranch experience is helpful but not required. Experience in construction, maintenance, mechanics, property management, farming, facilities, or similar work can also be a good fit.
Live-in position. Housing, utilities, and ranch vehicle provided.
Must have a valid driver’s license, good references, and pass a background check.
