    Description:

    An L2 Aviation Production Technician I plays a vital role in creating high‐quality harnesses and electronic components for the aerospace industry. In this role, you’ll operate a variety of machinery, learn our processes, and work with a range of hand tools to fabricate and assemble critical components. Your day-to‐day work will involve inspecting kits, laser marking wires, preparing and terminating wires,
    assembling harnesses and ensuring top‐notch quality through continuity checks and adherence to engineering specifications. You'll have the chance to work with advanced components, including complex terminations, and gain valuable experience in an innovative manufacturing environment.     Primary Responsibilities:


    The standard duties would include but not limited to:

    Incoming inspection of kits received from materialsLaser Marking of wires and alternate identification processesCreating bag and harness labelsWire preparation which includes stripping of wires and crimping of pins as well as installing solder sleevesTerminating prepped wires into connectorsForm boarding harnesses per engineering documentsContinuity checks of all assembliesFinal bagging and kitting (with direction)Will have some experience with harness fabrication, electronics or other
    manufacturing processes.Will have some complex terminations exposure i.e., Quadrax, CoaxAbility to operate avionics test equipment such as digital multi‐meter and TDRAll work will be done in accordance with company SOP’s (Standard Operating
    Processes) and any governing technical data such as aircraft manufacturer standard
    wiring practices or FAA applicable requirements for safe and high‐quality product
    completion.Being proactive in department Continuous Improvement Program and assisting in the
    creation and/or revision of existing SOP’s is required.Tool control, shop cleanliness, work area cleanliness is a daily responsibility as well as
    a dedication to producing top quality industry leading products.


    Preferred Skills and Abilities:

    Harness, Panel or Kit assembly experienceAerospace or aircraft Electrical and or Mechanical assembly experienceSome Familiarity with Manufacturer Standard Wiring PracticesUnderstanding and familiarity with handling electrostatic devices and componentsExperienced in working with various hand toolsSolder experience (solder certification to IPC‐610 and/or J‐STD‐001 desirable)Ability to read color‐codes, assembly and harness drawings


    Required:

    High school diploma or trade equivalentBasic computer skillsExcellent communication skillsMust be detail oriented within a fast‐paced environmentMust be willing to take on new tasks and work in a quickly changing environmentAbility to meet or exceed deadlinesMust be able to work overtime and weekends as necessaryDependableAbility to read, write and speak the English language.Must pass background verification, pre-employment drug testing, and submit to company's Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program.Must be legally able to work in the USA and supply required supporting documentation.

    Please note that initial training for certain positions may take place at our Dripping Springs, Texas location, and could last between four to six weeks, depending on the role and the candidate's qualifications and experience.

    Description:

    The Material Control Clerk I is responsible for organizing and distributing materials and inventory within the Material Control department to ensure timely and accurate kitting and delivery to production. This role involves maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing material flow, and supporting the overall productivity of the production team.

    Primary Responsibilities:


    The standard duties would include but not limited to:

    Kitting for Production Work OrdersOrganize and maintain materials in appropriate location for ease of manufacturingSupport Shipping and Receiving department for similar dutiesMaintaining accurate inventory records by tracking the receipt, storage, and distribution of materialsEnsuring proper stock levels are maintained through tasks like receiving deliveries, verifying quantities, performing cycle counts, and updating inventory systemsRecording inventory transactions into computer systems, including receiving dates, quantities, and locationsPre-staging of materials per requisition to be sent to production for final assemblyCompletion of rolling stock inventory count • Other duties as assigned by the department manager


    Preferred Skills and Abilities:

    High school diploma or trade equivalentMinimum 1-year experience shipping/receiving/inventory controlBasic computer skillsExperience working in conformance with a quality system

    Description: Expanding avionics company seeks Quality Specialist I who will be accountable for product quality activities as relates to avionics integration kits.  Will adhere to the details of inspection standards, methods and procedures used by the PMA Manufacturing Facility while complying with all FAA regulations, manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Ensures that no defective, unserviceable or unairworthy parts are used on any components or articles used or manufactured by the PMA Manufacturing Facility.Ensures all fabricated parts are labeled and identified properly.Ensures inspection of all work performed is in compliance with and conforms to approved data.Inspect visually for external or hidden damage and correct quantities and contents.Verify that tags or certifications are correct and meet applicable federal regulations.Inspect all paperwork for complete and appropriate sign-offs.Complete all paperwork in accordance with the PMA manual and all departmental guidelines and instructions.Verify that all materials are properly packed, labeled and stored.Perform review of equipment re-qualifications, calibrations and maintenance documentation.Escalate Quality issues to management. All duties assigned by the Manager of Parts and Materials.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    High School DiplomaGood understanding of Quality requirements and inventory control.Enjoys the challenges of working projects that vary greatly and have distinct potential to require significant changes or alterations in mid-stream, remaining flexible and adaptable.Ability to interact with and maintain external relationships with customers and internal relationships within all departments at L2.


    Required Skills and Abilities:

    Two or more years of Quality support experienceMust pass background verification, pre-employment drug testing, and submit to company's Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program.Must be able to pass a TSA/CVG background check to obtain and maintain TSA/CVG badging.
