Project ManagerDepartment: Project Management Reports to: Project Manager Lead Job Purpose or Summary: Krones Process Group Project Managers Coordinate and manage projects within the project life cycle to include Proposals, Process & Control Systems Engineering, Purchasing, Design, I&C, Structural, Field Install Supervision, and other miscellaneous aspects of project management. An individual in this position should have a technical background with experience in process systems designs, engineering, and manufacturing. The process engineer is responsible for maintaining the schedule, understanding the scope and keeping the job within budget, facilitating change orders when needed, and being the main point of contact between the customer and our internal team. Job Duties and Responsibilities:Management of projects and project teams from proposal development to project closureCoordinates and manages project support disciplines within the project life cycle (Process & Controls Systems Engineering, Purchasing, Design, I&C, Structural, Field Install Supervision, etc.).Coordinates the approval and submittal of project documents (P&IDs, drawings, project documentation, etc.) for submittal to the customer.Communicate customer requirements to project team to clearly define scope of work. Consults with other in-house engineers, Product Technology Centers, Supply Chain, vendors, or other individuals to determine specifications, resolve issues, and coordinate delivery times to coincide with the required project schedule.Compile and maintain on a regular basis the technical cost estimate created by project team to develop and formalize project budgets and proposals. Capability to direct the project team – understand their requirements, obstacles, and help devise resolutions.Maintains and updates risk analysis on a regular basis, also keeps management informed of any major changes/updates.develop plans for mitigation and exploitation to advance project success. Preferred Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree within an Engineering Discipline. Recognized Project Management Certification. Experience/Training: 5 years managing Project Activities and/or Project Teams. External process/engineering knowledge in our industry.Professional SkillsProficiency with PC and Windows Operating system, Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAbility to understand, organize and manage turn-key projects independently.
