    POSITION SUMMARY

    Candidate in the Savannah, GA or Jacksonville, FL area

    The Field Sales Technical Associate is a full-time, customer-facing support role designed to augment top-performing sales professionals in the field. Acting as a high-impact apprentice, this role accelerates order generation by executing technical pre-sales activities-including customer visits, data gathering, and quote preparation-under the direct mentorship of a senior service sales representative. This role is foundational for building future sales or operational leaders by developing technical and commercial acumen in real-world settings. Success will be measured by incremental sales enabled, accuracy of pre-sales documentation, and demonstrated growth in technical and customer-facing capabilities. This role is part of the Flex Plan initiative and will collaborate with the Control Tower to prioritize high-potential opportunities and execute field tasks efficiently. Top performers may advance into sales, TSM, FOM, TOM, or service operations roles as part of our leadership development track.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Attend customer sites with the senior sales representative to gather technical measurements and scope service opportunities.Draft and assist in the preparation of customer quotes using field data.Learn to identify sales opportunities during customer interactions.Support sales pipeline documentation and CRM data hygiene.Participate in territory planning sessions and prioritize leads with input from the Control Tower team.Continuously develop knowledge of cranes, components, and service offerings.Perform other duties as assigned in support of sales growth and technical training.
    Qualifications

    REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
    Strong mechanical or technical aptitude with a willingness to learn sales processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both customers and internal teams.Proactive, organized, and self-directed under mentorship.Able to interpret basic technical diagrams and specifications (training provided).High integrity, curiosity, and commitment to follow-through.
    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
    1-3 years of relevant field experience in industrial maintenance, technical support, or customer service OR recent graduate of a technical program with demonstrated aptitude.Prior exposure to mechanical/electrical systems or industrial environments strongly preferred.
    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
    Travel up to 50% within assigned territory.Valid driver's license required.Willingness to work in manufacturing and service environments.

    POSITION TITLE: Service Sales Representative

    REPORTS TO: Branch Manager/District Sales Manager

    Konecranes is looking for an individual with a sales background to join our team as a Service Sales Representative. As a Service Sales Representative, your primary duties are to sell products and services to the existing customer base to improve safety and productivity. This individual will be responsible for meeting assigned sales targets for all lifting equipment including but not limited to; repairs, retrofits, hoists, spare parts, general overhauls and consultation services. Organizational skills are required to monitor the workload of our service department and ensure that all open time slots are filled with sold work. Strong communication skills are a must, as you will be engaging with existing customers.     PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES:
    Engage in various sales activities to sell safety and productive retrofits, components, modernization and new equipment to existing customers and develop new accounts to meet minimum established sales quotas.Prepare or assist in preparing price estimates for service work using established tools, guidelines and input from the service department.Maintain personal contact with all existing accounts in your area. Prepare related monthly reports.When required, maintain monthly contact with assigned accounts to develop relationships. Document activity with key accounts. Prepare account plans with appropriate actions and forward to District Manager. Schedule and conduct business reviews for customers on an annual basis or as needed.Prepare and maintain a log in CRM software of all activities, business opportunities and offers submitted to customers and provide report to manager weekly.Monitor workload of service department and ensure all open time slots are filled with sold work.Qualify all any projects or credit worthiness as needed. Check D&B ratings and obtain credit application, if appropriate. Obtain tax-exempt certificate, if required.Monitor the credit control list and assist in collection efforts of problem accounts, as needed. Consult district staff prior to delivery of services or materials to accounts outstanding for over 60 days.Monitor the contract renewal process to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner and opportunities are not lost. Contact accounts that are not renewing their agreements. Document all sales activity in the CRM System. Establish and maintain on-going communications with the service department to address issues related to the customer base.Maintain customer and contact information in the CRM software, as required.Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those established by the customer.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    Two (2) years' experience in service related sales preferred however equivalent education, experience and training will be considered. Must have demonstrated leadership experience, a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles, good written and verbal communication skills and good PC skills. Prior experience with cranes is a plus.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    Must have and maintain a good driving record. Must be willing and able to work off the ground, on occasion. Ability to relocate to other regions of the country may be required for advancement opportunities.

    EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree preferred however, prior equivalent experience and training will be considered in lieu of formal degree.

    This opportunity is open to U.S. Military within their last 180 days of service.

    This 16-week training plan will prepare participants for a position as: Crane Industrial Maintenance Technician. Training is provided through hands-on demonstration, on-the-job training, laboratory instruction, and classroom instruction. The program is designed to alternate between classroom/lab instruction and on the job training; giving participants the opportunity to gain new objectives and then incorporate them during their field training. The flexibility in scheduling will support the needs of the participant. Konecranes offers opportunities across the entire nation. Classroom/Lab Training is offered in Springfield, Ohio and/or New Berlin, Wisconsin. OJT will be provided in the selected location of the service member. Konecranes will be responsible for accommodations and travel arrangements related service member's training.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations.Provide on-call service as part of a rotation, including after-hours support.Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.Perform post-repair audits to ensure safety features are functional.Document findings and recommend corrective actions, including safety notifications to customers.Consult with customers on repair and safety issues, offering recommendations for material handling improvement.Produce electronic documentation using company tools, obtaining customer signatures.Stay updated on industry codes and regulations (OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI).Complete service reports and other required documents accurately and promptly.Communicate with the Field Operations Manager and Service Coordinator following established practices.Maintain company-issued equipment, vehicles, and assets in proper working order.Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles, reporting deficiencies to the supervisor.Follow established safety rules and procedures, including customer guidelines.Participate in monthly safety meetings.Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
    Qualifications

    You may be eligible to participate in SkillBridge if you:
    Have 180 days of service or fewer remaining prior to your date of discharge and you have at least 180 continuous days of active service.Obtain approval from your unit commander.Agree that participation in SkillBridge can be terminated at any time by the service if mission requirements dictate.

    JOB POSITION SUMMARY

    The Vice President, Process Duty Cranes - Americas is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and financial performance of the Process Duty Cranes business unit across the Region Americas. This role holds full P&L accountability and ensures sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence across the lifecycle of crane systems including application engineering, sales, detailed engineering, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and commissioning.

    The Vice President will drive commercial success while ensuring strong risk management, particularly in application engineering and project execution. This leader will collaborate closely with other regional and global business areas to align strategies, leverage global capabilities, and deliver consistent value to customers across key industrial sectors.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide strategic leadership for the Process Duty Cranes business unit across Region Americas.

    • Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with regional and global organizational objectives.

    • Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and customer needs to expand market share and revenue.

    • Ensure alignment and collaboration with other regional and global business units to maximize synergies and operational efficiency.

    • Own and manage full profit and loss responsibility for the Process Duty Cranes business in the Americas with implementing performance metrics and accountability frameworks to ensure financial targets are achieved.

    • Drive revenue growth while improving margins and operational efficiency while developing and managing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

    • Lead regional sales strategy and execution for process duty crane systems and related services.

    • Ensure strong coordination between sales, engineering, and project execution teams to deliver competitive and technically sound proposals by strengthen relationships with key industrial customers across sectors such as steel, metals, mining, pulp & paper, energy, and heavy manufacturing.

    • Drive continuous improvement in design processes, product standardization, and modularization where appropriate with engineering solutions meet customer requirements, industry standards, and internal quality expectations.

    • Ensure operational excellence across manufacturing, delivery, installation, and commissioning activities.

    • Oversee execution of complex projects to meet schedule, cost, quality, and safety targets.

    • Work closely with manufacturing and supply chain leaders to optimize production efficiency and delivery performance.

Resolve customer concerns/complaints to the satisfaction of the customer and in the best interest of Konecranes according to the Voice of Customer (VoC) process.Coordinate with the Planning and or the Project Management organizations for all sold service work as needed. Ensure all WIP is scheduled or tentatively scheduled on the Planning board.Responsible for Productivity in accordance with targeted metrics.Responsible for the Gross Margin and Profitability of the branch operationMonitor and maintain the company equipment and assets in proper conditions, good working order and in compliance with all applicable safety standards.Qualifications

    POSITION TITLE: INSTALLATION SUPERINTENDANT - NUCLEAR

     

    REPORTS TO: JOEL CHELLMAN – SERVICE AND INSTALLATION MANAGER

     

    BUSINESS UNIT: KONECRANE NUCLEAR EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES, LLC

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

     

    Do you have an interest in becoming an installation superintendent of material handling solutions in Nuclear facilities? Are you able and capable of working at extreme heights? At Konecranes, installation superintendents and technicians are the heart of our industry. We work in a safety-first type of environment and don’t mind heights or working on mechanical parts. As an installation superintendent, you will be working with engineered project teams to install complex machinery that operators on 480 3 phase motors, troubleshooting issues with our cranes, and working with clients and facility directors to ensure that our clients are properly being taken care of. Our installation superintendents have the opportunity to experience new and challenging situations with each job.

     

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Responsible for on-time and on-budget execution of installations of nuclear equipment at customer locations globally working with a cross-functional project team. Project types include oversight for repairs, modernization and installation activities on electric overhead traveling cranes at a nuclear power plants government facilities and other demanding customer sites both in the USA and globally

    · Follow all established safety rules and quality procedures, including those established by the customer and have a strong commitment to safety

    · Arrive to project sites before install crew to verify delivery of material and equipment. Stay onsite after install crew to demobilize and ship tools and equipment from the site

    · Manage sub-contract workforce staffing levels and collect, review and sign their service reports and other required and appropriate documents in a professional, accurate, neat and legible manner and submit same in a timely manner and in accordance with established guidelines.

    · Maintain strong communication with the project team, service office and Service and Installation Supervisor, in accordance with established practices.

    · Prior to installation, review, print and prepare document packages as necessary and communicate with other members of the installation team

    · Evaluation of rigging plans. Collaborate rigging/installation methods to installation engineering with a positive questioning attitude. During installation need to implement those plans while recognizing potential problems or hazards

    · Have the ability to write safety related documents and work plans

    · Conduct customer training programs and modules as required by the contract

    · Ability to research and procure materials and tools local to the project

    · Maintain all company issued equipment, vehicle (if applicable) and assets in a safe and proper working order. Operate tools, equipment and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Notify supervisor of any deficiencies for resolution.

    · Maintain uniforms in a clean and presentable manner.

    · Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those established by the customer and have a strong commitment to safety

    · Plan and participate in monthly safety meetings.

    · Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications

    OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Must have and maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver's license.

    · Must be willing and able to work at elevations

    · Must be able to pass background checks that are required to gain access to nuclear power plants and secure government facilities (A candidates legal, financial, physiological and psychological background are considered in these background checks). Previous knowledge of work at nuclear facilities a plus

    · Must be able to work varied overtime, as required by customer, and be able to travel and work away from home for extended periods of time.

    · Must be team oriented, solutions driven, customer focused and a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision

    · Previous project management background is a plus

    · Able to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics and BOM’s. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude are a plus

    · Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, Microsoft Project and SAP are required

    · Read, understand and apply the contents of all OSHA, ANSI, CMAA and other codes or regulations pertaining to our industry. Refresh and update knowledge periodically.

    · Possibility to expand role during non-installation windows to include other services as deemed necessary by the Service and Installation Manager

     

    EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. An Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or related field or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience is a plus.

     

     

    EXPERIENCE: Five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience in installation of overhead material handling equipment and nuclear experience is a plus

     

    TRAVEL: Overnight and extended travel to customer locations is required on a global basis. 75-90% Travel required.
