    The Electrical Technician will Install electrical wiring and assemble components in control cabinets, electrical and industrial equipment, and other related industrial apparatus according to assembly drawings, hydraulic and lubrication diagrams, and runoff instructions by performing the following duties.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Lay out diagram for electrical installations according to wiring specificationsCut, strip, bend, and form wire cable, conduit, pipe and tubing used to connect circuits and subassembliesAttach breakers, relays, contractors, bus bars, transformers, insulators, regulator cabinets, condenser units, motor and generator sets, meters, plugging devices, and fuse blocks to mounting hold with bolts and screwsConnect color-coded wires using mirrors in compact areasSolder connections and crimp connectors to wire endsConnect power supply wires to machines and equipment in addition to connecting cables and wires between machines and equipmentTest and adjust electrical assemblesDrill and tap holes in specified locations for mounting control unitsInstall power supply wiring and conduit/Unistrut for newly built and re-built machinerySquare, align, and assemble bases, sills, cabinet frames or equipment structural components on the floor or floor platesPush buttons and press keys on robot controller, pendant, and programmable controller to program automated machinery, to operate and test for malfunctions and to repairs

    Required Qualifications

    Associate degree (A.     The Electrical Technician will work on the production floor providing electrical services for machines being built to print specifications. The Electrician will also perform mechanical debug/testing and tear down of assembled equipment.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Position Overview

    This Opportunity

    Komline-Heron manufactures innovative Suspended Air® Flotation (SAF®) water and wastewater treatment solutions. Through customized skid-mounted or standalone SAF systems, Komline-Heron delivers sustainable and cost-effective solutions that outperform traditional wastewater treatment methods.

    The Welder II (TIG Welder) is responsible for performing high quality welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) processes. This role also incorporates millwright duties, including equipment installation, mechanical assembly, alignment, and maintenance of industrial machinery used in the fabrication and production process.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals in accordance with engineering drawings and specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings to determine weld requirementsPrepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting componentsMaintain consistent weld quality while ensuring compliance with company, industry, and safety standardsInspect completed welds to ensure they meet structural and visual quality requirementsSet up and operate TIG welding equipment, including adjusting amperage, shielding gas, and filler materialsWork collaboratively with fabricators, machinists, and quality teams to ensure proper fit up and assemblyPerform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting on welding machines and toolsFollow work instructions, safety protocols, and production schedules to meet project timelinesAssist in training or mentoring junior welders or apprentices as neededInstall, assemble, and align industrial machinery, pumps, piping, and mechanical components used in SAF® systemsPerform mechanical fit‑up, including bolting, torquing, leveling, and precision alignment of rotating and stationary equipmentUse rigging equipment such as hoists, slings, and forklifts to safely move and position heavy componentsConduct routine mechanical maintenance, including lubrication, adjustments, and replacement of worn partsTroubleshoot mechanical issues related to equipment operation, alignment, vibration, or component failureRead and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manualsFabricate brackets, supports, and mechanical assemblies as needed to support system installationEnsure all millwright work complies with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company guidelines

    Required Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environmentStrong proficiency welding stainless steel and aluminumAbility to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawingsExperience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and squaresKnowledge of welding safety practices and proceduresAbility to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standardsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

    Preferred Qualifications

    Welding certification such as AWS (American Welding Society) certificationExperience welding thin-gauge stainless steel or sanitary process equipmentExperience with pipe welding or complex assembliesFamiliarity with MIG welding or other welding processesExperience working in a manufacturing or industrial equipment environmentAbility to perform basic fabrication tasks such as grinding, polishing, or finishing
