Opportunity
As a Customer Service Assistant I in a high-end convenience store, you are the final touchpoint in the customer's shopping experience. You provide warm, professional service while efficiently processing transactions. Your attention to detail, product knowledge, and hospitality help reinforce the store's premium brand.
Specific Responsibilities:
This is a casual part time position at Kohler Convenience Store & Gas Station. Shifts will fall on weekdays and weekends varying between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm.
Skills/Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills
Passion for hospitality and creating memorable customer experiences
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
Ability to obtain WI Class C UST Operator Certification within 30 days of start of employment
Ability to obtain WI Class A bartender "operator" license from approved program within 30 days of start of employment
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

The hourly range for this position is $13.35 - $20.05. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.

Opportunity
The Cheesemonger is a knowledgeable and passionate specialist responsible for curating, handling, and selling a wide variety of cheeses and cured meats. This role involves educating customers, maintaining product quality, and creating an engaging shopping experience centered around artisan, specialty cheeses, and cured meats.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide expert knowledge on cheese and cured meat varieties, origins, pairings, and storage Assist customers with recommendations based on taste preferences, recipes, and occasions Cut, wrap, weigh, and label cheese and cured meat products accurately and attractively Maintain proper storage and rotation of cheeses and meats to ensure freshness and prevent spoilage Create and maintain visually appealing displays and merchandising setups Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving shipments Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times Host tastings, demos, or educational events to promote cheese products Collaborate with other departments (e.g., wine, bakery) for cross-merchandising opportunities Assist in other food production areas as needed Follow dress code and grooming standards that reflect the upscale environmentSkills/Requirements
Highschool diploma or equivalent required Must be 18 years or older and have ability to obtain ServSafe Certification Prior experience in cheese, deli, or specialty food retail preferred Strong passion for a knowledge of cheese and cured meats, including international and domestic varieties Excellent customer service and communication skills Basic computer skills and ability to research products Willingness to learn and stay updated on cheese trends and products Comfortable using scales, slicers, and other food prep equipment Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
