PMS 390’s mission includes: Assessment/Underwater Work System (AUWS), Submarine Rescue System-Rescue Capable System (SRS-RCS), and the Submarine Rescue System-Submarine Decompression System (SRS-SDS). They are also responsible for the coordination of R&D initiatives, acquisition, test and evaluation, in-service support, and recommends certification of Dry Deck Shelter (DDS) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) Host Submarine (HOSUB) Systems. This includes responsibility for future SOF Undersea Mobility Systems and technical support for all matters pertaining to SOF Undersea Mobility; and other projects as directed. This position specifically supports the Submarine Escape and Rescue (SER) branch. Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer.
