    Shift: Enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule with the flexibility to start your day anytime between 6:00 AM-9:00 AM and wrap up between 2:00 PM-5:00 PM for a full 40 hour work week.

    Pay Range

    Compensation is based on job requirements, experience, internal equity, and market alignment. New team members typically join at the minimum to mid range.

    Salary: $18.90-$23.65 DOE

    About the Role

    The Records and Credentialing Specialist plays a vital role in supporting KBBH's mission by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely management of medical records and provider credentials. You will maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, safeguard sensitive information, and help licensed providers stay active, credentialed, and ready to serve our community.

    In this position, your work directly supports client care, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the agency's reputation for excellence. You will manage records requests, oversee licensing and credentialing processes, and-when assigned-serve as an alternative Adult Abuse Investigator, supporting the protection of vulnerable community members.

    Key Responsibilities

    Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant records management

    Monitor incoming records requests across multiple channelsReview authorization, process requests, and release information within established timelinesFile, organize, and maintain documentation with precisionEducate staff on HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and documentation standards

    Support provider credentialing and licensing processes

    Track licenses, credentials, and renewal timelinesFacilitate initial and renewal credentialing with insurance companiesMaintain positive working relationships with payers and regulatory bodiesDevelop and enhance internal credentialing workflowsRelease required information to agencies per legal requirements

    Maintain agency wide compliance and regulatory alignment

    Understand and apply Oregon Administrative Rules related to behavioral health documentationMonitor legislative changes and advise leadership on required updatesSupport organizational readiness for audits, accreditation reviews, and compliance checksSuccess means: compliance risks are minimized and operational integrity is strengthened.Build cross department relationships to support workflowsPartner with staff across programs to ensure documentation and credentialing needs are metCommunicate clearly, proactively, and professionally

    Serve as an Adult Abuse Investigator when assigned

    Investigate reports of abuse, neglect, or exploitation under DHS OTIS guidelinesReview records, assess safety concerns, and determine if reports meet criteria for investigationParticipate in Klamath County's Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT)Coordinate with law enforcement, DHS, healthcare entities, and community partners

    Required

    Preferred

    What Success Looks Like in This Role:
    As our front office Receptionist, you will:

    Greet every client and guest with respect, empathy, and professionalism.Keep our busy front office organized, clean, and running smoothly.Manage incoming calls and ensure they're routed quickly and correctly.Handle payment processing, appointment notifications, and intake packets with accuracy.Support our clinical teams by maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring smooth daily operations.Assist in crisis protocols and escalate safety concerns appropriately.
