  Responsibilities:
  Assist customers with laundry services, including washing, drying, and foldingOperate and monitor commercial washers and dryers to ensure proper functioningMaintain cleanliness and organization of the laundromat floor, machines, and restroomsHandle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systemsRestock laundry supplies such as detergent, dryer sheets, and vending itemsReport equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to managementProvide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionallyRequirements:
  Prior experience in a laundromat, hospitality, or customer service role preferredAbility to operate commercial laundry equipment or willingness to learnStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitationReliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervisionBasic math skills and comfort handling cash transactionsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasksAbout Us:

  Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the Role:Join our dynamic team at King Pelican Laundry LLC as a Laundromat Wash and Fold Attendant! In this exciting role, you'll provide exceptional laundry services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers in San Pedro and the South Bay.  
  
  We are open 7 days a week.  Our Shift Schedule is: morning shift 7am - 3pm and evening shift 3pm - 10pm.  We are looking to hire a team member that can be flexible for both shifts. The two shifts per day do not have flexible start and end times.  Please only apply if your schedule can accommodate this shift schedule.  
  
  This position starting pay is $17.87 plus tips which typically amount to $1.50 - $2.50 extra per hour.
  
  Responsibilities:Receive, sort, and process customer laundry with attention to detail.Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently and safely.Fold and package laundry neatly for customer pickup.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundromat area.Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent customer service.Monitor inventory of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols.Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous experience in a laundromat or customer service role is a plus.Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding service.Basic knowledge of laundry care and fabric types is beneficial.About Us:King Pelican Laundry LLC has been serving the Long Beach community for over 10 years, providing top-notch laundry services with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
