Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead multiple residential construction projects supporting long-term disaster recovery efforts. This role oversees contractors, coordinates schedules, manages budgets, and ensures each project complies with program standards and timelines. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of residential construction practices, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to keep projects on track through planning, logistics management, and evaluation.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage project schedules, workflows, procedures, and task plans.Assign tasks and oversee deliverables for contractsCoordinate communication between contractors, internal teams, and homeowners.Prepare and maintain clear project documentation and regular status updates.Lead reporting processes and update project data in tracking tools.Use project management software to ensure performance aligns with scope, budget, and timeline.
RequirementsBachelors degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or related field.PMP certification preferred.3+ years of experience in a construction management role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Experience with scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera preferred.Familiarity with cost estimation software such as Xactimate preferred.Experience with CDBG-DR housing programs and federal funding guidelines preferred.Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.Ability to make confident decisions and meet project deadlines.Proven ability to complete projects on time and within scope and budget.Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead contractor relationships.
Compensation$35$40 per hour, depending on experience.Full-time contract position.
