As a Recovery Nurse, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. The hours will be determined based on availability and need. The Recovery Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to pre-op and post op surgical patients. ResponsibilitiesSurgical Nursing Responsibilities:
Pre op and post op assessment and care of post-surgical patients.
Patient assessment, collection and interpretation of pertinent data relevant to the patient’s care.
Proper and complete documentation of patient pre op assessments, any interventions, and patient’s post op recovery.
Communication of any patient’s condition to physicians and other providers as appropriate.
Discharge of patients with provider approval as condition dictates.

Educate patients on infertility evaluations, medications, treatment protocols, and procedures
Work with nurses to oversee patients’ cycling process - injection training, consent reviews, medication questions, and answer general process questions throughout the cycle
Conduct nursing visits
Ensure each patient is seen by a nurse during Cycle Visits
Perform pre- and post-operative care of patients
Coordinates patient treatment plans, such as Egg Freezing, IUI, In Vitro Fertilization, and Frozen Embryo Transfers
Follow RN Coordination Workflow for appropriate and complete coordination of cycles
Ensure the competition of Fast-Track coordination
Provides patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, and communicates physician orders and instructions
Ensure all patient information is documented appropriately in our EMR according to our procedures
Oversee daily meeting with physician(s) to review cycling patients’ lab results and ultrasound images, and ensure accurate and timely updating of patient instructions
Routine phlebotomy as needed
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families
Works independently to ensure the program goals are achieved
Support and promote excellence in customer service
Provide feedback to HQ on process improvement and job specifications to help gain efficiencies in your day-to-day
Who You Are
5+ years of experience as a nurse in a fertility practice or Ob/GYN
Current Registered Nurse license in California
BLS and ACLS Certification
Experienced in EMR and G-Suite
Ultrasound experience preferred
Strong phlebotomy skills
Able to start intravenous access (IVs)
Experience in and a passion for women’s health, fertility is a plus
Strong communication skills & a team player
Detail oriented

About the Role
As a Mid-Level Embryologist at Kindbody, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. We consider our Mid-Level Embryologists to be someone who is fully trained & signed off in all aspects of Embryology (basic + micro manipulation).
ResponsibilitiesPerform Chemistry Laboratory and Andrology Laboratory Procedures as needed.
Perform assisted reproductive technology methods, including, but not limited to, semen preparation, oocyte identification conventional IVF, ICSI, embryo culture and grading, laser-assisted hatching, trophectoderm biopsy, sperm, oocyte, and embryo cryopreservation (vitrification).
Maintain accurate laboratory records
Perform quality control procedures and monitor KPIs
Participate in the laboratory’s quality management program
Coordinate with reproductive endocrinologists and OB/GYNs to assist their patients with reproductive health issues and clinical research.
Communicate with patients on outcomes, lab procedures, and general patient lab-related questions as needed
Ensure all patient information is documented appropriately in our EMR according to our procedures
Works independently to ensure the program goals are achieved
Support and promote excellence in customer service
Provide feedback to HQ on process improvement and job specifications to help gain efficiencies in the day-to-day
Is willing to travel to other Kindbody locations to perform patient testing, train or support staff.

Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in a scientific field required (Biology, Chemistry, or Medical Technology, etc.)
Fully trained in all aspects of embryology (basic + micro manipulation) for 1-5 years
Must demonstrate high integrity and professional demeanor
Must demonstrate punctual and reliable work habits
Detail-oriented, meticulous record-keeping
Strong communication skills & a team player
Willingness to be flexible
Familiarity with all state and local regulations, including tissue bank licensing
Experienced in EMR and G-Suite
