Guests feel it; you'll feel it too. **What You'll Do** Responsibilities include providing ridiculously personal experiences and leading all aspects of the food production for banquets, including food preparation according to the specific descriptions and following all sanitation practices. You'll also have an immense passion for cooking and food! **Some of your responsibilities include:** + Prepare high quality food items for customers in a timely and consistent manner. + Accurately set up food stations for events as designed and requested. + Practice sanitation and safety through daily cleaning, labeling, and accurate storage of all items. + Follow all quality standards and attendance policies. + Work varying schedules to reflect business needs including evenings, weekends, and holidays. + Cooperatively and collaboratively work with other departments as needed. **What You Bring** + Prior banquet or cook experience is preferred and a Food Handler Certificate (if applicable). + Clear communication and basic computer skills. + Ability to read recipes and accurately follow instructions. + Successful in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and able to build displays. + Strong love for cooking and phenomenal service! Guests feel it; you'll feel it too. **What You'll Do** Facilitate the replenishment of guestroom honor/private bars, maintain the inventory of the private bar storage area in a neat and organized manner, and assist with in-room dining (IRD) orders, tray preparation and tray runs when needed. Act as an advocate for the hotel, be a creator of ridiculously personal experiences, and develop relationships with guests that will compel them to return. **Some of your responsibilities include:** + Memorize the organization of the honor bar and accurate placement of each product. Be familiar with IRD carts. Ensure the bar cart is stocked at the start and end of your shift. + Check expiration dates on products daily. + Setup and breakdown scheduled coffee service and water stations each morning/afternoon by predetermined time according to Kimpton standards. + Become familiar with the technology used to record items taken from honor bar. Provide a report to the front office at the end of the day. + Clean spills, broken glass and debris promptly after incidents. + Pick up trays en route back to station, during slow periods, and on designated tray runs. + Assist with monthly inventories and deep cleans of honor bars to ensure quality and cleanliness. + Check refrigerator and baskets in all rooms assigned for private bar items that have been consumed. + Record used items by room number and restock used items in each room. + Keep room refrigerators, baskets, and storage room clean & organized. + We all wear multiple hats here at Kimpton. You may need to take on responsibilities that are outside of this job post at times, as we all do. **What You Bring** + High School Diploma is preferred. + Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or similar role. + Excellent written communication and professional communication and presentation skills. + Highly motivated and flexible with the ability to take initiative. + Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weeekends, and holidays when needed. You'll act as an ambassador for the restaurant, be a creator of ridiculously personal experiences, and develop relationships with guests that will compel them to return. **Some of your responsibilities include:** + Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to the guests in a timely manner. + Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period. + Item specifications, including preparation, execution, and presentation will be provided to you. + Know and comply consistently with standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies and procedures. + Prevent the spoiling and contamination of foods by implementing proper sanitation practices while ensuring compliance with policy and health regulations. + Maintain a clean work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment. + Assist in the daily cleaning of the pantry, cooking line, prep kitchen, dish area, stairs, walk-in and prep area. + Report any maintenance or repairs needed to the Executive Chef. + Follow departmental policies as well as restaurant rules and regulations set forth in the Employee Handbook and by management. **What You Bring** + 2 years of previous experience in restaurant and/or culinary experience in a high volume, full service restaurant is preferred. + Time management and organizational ability required for high quality food production. + Ability to work with minimal direction or supervision to complete assigned tasks. + Food Handler Certification (if applicable). + Trained in knife skills and basic kitchen equipment usage. + Able to multitask in a dynamic, and fast paced environment. + You're able to establish a positive rapport with many types of personalities. + Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed. In this role you'll also be responsible for working knowledge of cooking techniques, seasonal ingredients, and also possess a desire to learn about new techniques and ingredients. **Some of your responsibilities include:** + Provide banquet guests excellent food quality, consistency, reasonable prices, in an attractive environment and with professional service. Responsibilities include managing the culinary functions to meet food quality goals. + Create and maintain a sound working relationship with all banquet culinary team. + Must be familiar with health requirements, OSHA regulations and Department of Labor regulations as they pertain to all kitchen and restaurant employees. + Prevent the spoiling and contamination of foods by enforcing proper sanitation practices and ensuring compliance with policy and health regulations. + Know and comply consistently with our standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures. + Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period. + Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to the guests. The demonstration, preparation and execution of each menu item and the item specifications and presentation will be agreed upon. + Maintain a high level of cleanliness in kitchen facilities, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment. + Attend weekly BEO and Resume meetings. + Work closely with the Catering and Banquets teams to ensure smooth execution of functions from start to finish. **What You'll Bring** + 2+ years relative experience in a kitchen of similar size. + Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. + Ability to help beyond this job description and wear multiple hats, as we all do at Kimpton! + Food Handler Certification, Alcohol Awareness Certification (if applicable). Guests feel it; you'll feel it too. **What You'll Do** Under limited supervision, the staff accountant assists the Finance Department in performing multiple duties related to the accounting functions of the organization within established deadlines. **Some of your responsibilities include:** + Prepare, record, and process accounts payable and cash disbursement, and accounts receivable and cash receipts. + Prepare allocation tables for indirect expenses and revenue items as needed. + Assist in the posting of accounts to the general ledger for: accounts receivable, cash receipts, and accounts payable. + Review open invoice reports and follow up with a schedule of payments or adjustments. + Assist comptroller with the year-end financial audit. + Maintain required records, reports, and files in an organized manner. + Perform other related duties as directed or as the situation dictates. (We wear multiple hats at Kimpton!) **What You Bring** + Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred. + Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. + Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. + Ability to optimally present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. + Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. + Basic algebra and geometry skills. + Experience solving practical problems and the ability to deal with concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits. + Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. + Proficient in MS Office with emphasis on Excel and working knowledge of PeopleSoft. You'll act as an advocate for the hotel, be a creator of ridiculously personal experiences and develop relationships with guests that will compel them to return. **Some of your responsibilities include:** + Clean, dust, wax, scrub, polish and service guest rooms daily in line with hotel procedures. + Replace linens on beds and replenish guest room supplies, empty wastebaskets. Rearrange furnishings, drapes and room accessories. + Provide necessary linen and amenities to guests in accordance with the guest room legend. + Leave rooms in uniform arrangement as determined by the Executive Housekeeper and make sure the door is closed and the room is locked. + Report any damage, hazards, repairs, and strangers in assigned areas. + Return any items found in guest rooms, hallways, or back of the house to the Housekeeping department as a lost and found item. Log the date, where it was found, description of the item and the name of the person who found it. + Clean all corridors and service areas. Respond to any projects or requests developed by the Housekeeping management team. + Responsible for the pass key security and assuring that it is turned in at the close of each shift or according to the specific hotel guidelines. + Restock the cart at the end of your shift and organize the linen closet to prepare for the next day. + Report any exceptional and/or unusual circumstances, such as no luggage in a stay-over room, no service needed, sleep-outs, guests smoking in rooms, etc. to the on duty supervisor or manager. + Perform other duties as directed, developed, or assigned. **What You Bring** + High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred. + 1 year of experience in customer service or similar role. + Excellent problem solver with great intuition. + You genuinely care for the safety and security of the guests.
