Working directly under the supervision of the Chief of Maintenance, the technician is responsible for diagnosing technical issues, replacing faulty components, and performing necessary repairs to keep the fleet in optimal condition. District Overview: Midwest Aviation is Kiewit's own private flight division. Operating out of a private hangar on Omaha's Eppley Airfield, Midwest Aviation also maintains bases in both Conroe, TX and New Windsor, NY. Location: This position is based out of Omaha, NE. This is an airport hangar, which includes some office space. Responsibilities: Guaranteeing the safety and reliability of company aircraft while adhering to the direction of the Chief of Maintenance, or the Director of Maintenance is his absence. Diagnose mechanical and technical issues, perform repairs, and replace aircraft components as needed. Manage the procurement of parts and ensure thorough documentation of all maintenance activities. Strictly follow MWA protocols and comply with all FAA guidelines, maintaining the highest quality standards throughout all maintenance procedures. Travel internationally, or domestically as required to provide on-site support and respond promptly to Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events to minimize operational disruptions. Conduct both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as well as comprehensive inspections. Participate in the upkeep of maintenance facilities, as necessary.
