Responsibilities:Provide thorough examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infectionDiagnose and treat dental problems for children from infancy through adolescence including baby root canals, extractions, and restorationPerform dental care treatments including x-rays, composite fillings, stainless steel crowns, Zirconia crowns, pulpotomy, chairside space maintainer, extraction of primary teeth/molars, nitrous oxide, etc.Consult with other dental specialists when necessarySupervise staffProvide education to patients on oral hygiene and use of orthodontics and dental appliancesAdhere to strict health and safety guidelinesQualificationsDDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA-accredited dental school is requiredCurrent Florida state licensePrevious experience in pediatric dentistry in clinical or private practiceCPR, BLS certifications and NPI and Medicaid numbersExcellent bedside mannerStrong verbal and written communication skills Pediatric Dentist, General Dentist and newly graduates are welcome to apply.
