    KCA is seeking a warm, energetic, and dedicated Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment where our youngest learners can thrive. As a Lead Teacher, you will design and implement foundational learning experiences, manage daily classroom routines, and build strong, trusting partnerships with families. If you have a passion for early childhood development and love watching minds grow from the very beginning, we want to hear from you! Key duties include delivering high-quality care (feeding, diapering, naps), developing sensory/learning activities, maintaining licensing compliance, and communicating daily with families regarding child development.

     

    Infant/Toddler Lead Lead Teacher Requirements and Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED certificateAssociate or bachelor's degree in early childhood development or education or current enrollment in a similar degree program preferredCDA credential or willing to obtain an employer sponsored CDAAt least one year child care experienceFirst aid and CPR certification

    Job DescriptionJob Description

    KCA is seeking a warm, energetic, and dedicated preschool teacher to join our team. In this role, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment where our preschool-aged children can learn, grow, and thrive.

     

    We are looking for an experienced and caring Preschool Lead Teacher to oversee our curriculum program. You will collaborate with our assistant teachers to prepare children for school both academically and socially by using age-appropriate lesson plans, selecting effective developmental materials for the classroom, and utilizing positive behavior reinforcement. We keep our teacher-to-student ratio small to enable you to provide individualized care for every child in our program.

     

    Preschool Lead Teacher Requirements and Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED certificateAssociate or bachelor's degree in early childhood development or early childhood education or an existing CDAAt least two years of teaching or child care experienceFirst aid and CPR certification

     

    Preschool Lead Teacher Duties and Responsibilities

    Develop and implement curriculumSupport creativity and learningProvide supervision during activitiesSelect age-appropriate developmental materials for the classroomKeep classroom neat and organizedProvide parents with progress reportsFile incident reports as neededAssist in classroom cleaning, sanitizing, and organization throughout the day. Lead the preparation of the environment for the following class day to ensure a fresh, welcoming start for students.
