Responsibilities:Assist the pediatric dentist chairside during exams, cleanings, and dental proceduresPrepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patientsTake and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed by the dentistBuild rapport with young patients to create a calm, positive, and comfortable dental experienceEducate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-procedure careMaintain accurate patient records and update charts using dental practice management softwareSupport front office staff with scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks as neededRequirements:Previous dental assisting experience preferred; pediatric experience is a plusDental Assistant certification is great but not required Radiology certification or ability to be trained Warm, patient, and energetic demeanor with a natural ability to connect with childrenStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively with parents and guardiansReliable, detail-oriented, and a committed team playerAbout Us:Kids Town Pediatric Dentistry is a dedicated pediatric dental practice in Roy, UT, committed to providing exceptional, compassionate dental care to children in a welcoming and playful environment.
