Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the Role:Join our vibrant team at Kids Club Child Care Center of Livingston County as a Child Care Center Room Leader! This exciting position allows you to nurture young minds and create a positive learning environment in our welcoming center in Avon, NY.
Responsibilities:Lead and supervise daily activities for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for all children.Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress.Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall curriculum.Maintain accurate records of children's attendance and developmental milestones.Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers and volunteers.Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.Requirements:Minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or CDAAt least 2 years of experience in a child care or educational setting.Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Passion for working with children and fostering their development.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Knowledge of child development principles and best practices.Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.About Us:Kids Club Child Care Center of Livingston County has been a trusted provider of quality child care for over 10 years.
