    Job Title: Medical Assistant - Kids Care Pediatrics

    Job Summary: Kids Care Pediatrics, a well-established Pediatric Practice, is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in the day-to-day operations of our busy pediatric practice, providing essential clinical and administrative support. If you are a dedicated individual with bilingual proficiency, previous experience in computer-based EMR systems, and strong organizational skills, we invite you to apply.

    Responsibilities:

    Intra-Office Communication:

    Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure smooth operations.Escort patients to examination rooms and input their history and clinical information into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.

    Clinical Tasks:

    Perform routine clinical tasks to support physicians during well and sick visits.Administer necessary procedures for well and sick visits.Prepare and administer injections/immunizations.Take inventory and maintain stocked rooms for efficient daily operations.Perform phlebotomy and in office lab tests

    Administrative Assignments:

    Prepare charts for the next day's visits.Assist in maintaining organized and up-to-date patient records.

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience with computer-based EMR systems.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Medical Assistant certification preferred.

    Kids Care Pediatrics is a thriving, community focused pediatric practice seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant. Under the supervision of a physician, the Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and educating patients while maintaining a focus on prevention and wellness. Our office is known for providing high quality family centered care to children form birth through adulthood.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Patient Care & Assessments: Perform comprehensive physical exams, take detailed patient histories, and develop tailored treatment plans. Order appropriate lab tests, and interpret lab results when necessary. Diagnose and treat minor illnesses, prescribe medications, and consult with supervising physicians for complex cases or referrals.Patient Education & Counseling: Educate patients on preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and disease management to promote health and wellness. Offer counseling on various health issues, including chronic conditions, medication adherence, and managing mental health.Documentation & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment plans in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Follow up on abnormal results and ensure proper documentation of patient progress and follow-up care.Team Collaboration :Attend team meetings and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes.Clinical Oversight & Safety: Adhere to OSHA infection control standards and CDC guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy environment for both patients and staff. Provide high-quality care that meets the organization's productivity, quality, and patient satisfaction standards.Fulfilling Special Patient Needs: Provide care across various patient age groups (infants, children, adolescents), ensuring age-specific care is delivered effectively.

    Qualifications:

    Certified PNP or PA with active state licensePediatric experience preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsTeam -oriented, with commitment to patient -centered careBilingual ( English/Spanish) is preferred
