    The Full-Time Assistant Teacher will support the preschool classroom environment by assisting the lead teacher in fostering a positive, Christian-based learning experience for young students. The assistant teacher will help manage a class size of 10-20 children, providing support in daily activities, classroom management, and behavior monitoring, while maintaining strong communication with the lead teacher and contributing to a collaborative educational setting.

     

    Responsibilities

    Support the lead teacher in daily classroom activities and lesson implementationSupervise and monitor student behavior to maintain a safe and positive environmentAssist students with activities and learning tasks to encourage developmentHelp manage classroom logistics and maintain order throughout the dayCommunicate effectively with the lead teacher about student progress and needsContribute to upholding a Christian-based educational atmosphere

    As a Full-Time Preschool Teacher, you will foster a nurturing and educational environment for young learners, typically managing a class size of 10-15 students. Your role involves designing and implementing lesson plans aligned with State Early Learning Standards, assessing student progress through observations, anecdotal records, and portfolio assessments. You will collaborate closely with support staff including a speech therapist and a teacher assistant to ensure comprehensive developmental support for each child. We strongly believe that our teachers are doing ministry, so we require a pastoral reference and regular church attendance.

     

    Responsibilities

    Manage classroom environment to promote a positive learning atmospherePlan and deliver lessons aligned with State Early Learning StandardsConduct child assessments using observations, anecdotal records, and portfoliosMaintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress and needsSupervise and guide students’ behavior to support social and emotional developmentCollaborate with support staff such as speech therapists and teacher assistants

     

    Preferred Qualifications
