About the Role OEI, a division of KI, is responsible for selling and promoting contract office furniture solutions for UNICOR to the Federal Government. We currently have an opening for a Field Sales Representative who may be based out of Green Bay at our Corporate office, or work remotely from their home office within the assigned territory. This role will cover a territory including Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, and Kentucky. The ideal candidate will reside within the territory, preferably in or around St. Louis, MO; Louisville, KY; or Des Moines, IA. Key Responsibilities Sell directly to Federal Government end users and purchasing staff. Utilize a consultative sales approach to develop new accounts and grow existing ones. Effectively present to large groups and generate new business leads. Travel within the territory is required approximately 50-75% of the time. Who You Are Industry Experience: Knowledge and experience in the office furniture industry is desired but not required. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify client needs and provide tailored solutions. Customer Relationship Management: Experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to client needs. Team Collaboration: Ability to work well with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. KI's Sales team in Chicago is looking for a Sales Student Intern to assist with sales support and design functions in our showroom in Fulton Market. Responsibilities include servicing clients and managing operational showroom activities including greeting and hosting of clients, showroom tours and events, managing inventory of finishes, mailing and shipping, as well as assisting with quoting and drawing when trained and capable. This individual will support the needs of our Pallas Textiles sales team by managing on-site literature including the Pallas sample program. This role will also be involved in assisting with our move from the Merchandise Mart to Fulton Market in May/June, while working with both the local Chicago team and the corporate marketing team to prepare for the Design Days tradeshow. Ideal candidates should be working towards an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or Interior design or related field. Candidates should have creative energy, be outgoing and personable, and be able to work independently. This position will work through the summer months, and there is opportunity to continue working into the fall/winter for students interested in working during the school year. Dealer Representatives are not employees of KI, rather independent contractors who partner with our experienced KI Sales Specialists to promote KI's innovative award-winning furniture solutions to education, corporate, healthcare and government market end-user clients. There is no cap on earnings! Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience selling or specifying contract furniture to their established end-user clients.
