    Job Description:

    As a Car Washer and Detailer at Key Collision, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers' vehicles leave our facility in pristine condition. You will be responsible for cleaning, washing, and detailing vehicles, paying close attention to every detail to meet our high standards of quality.

    Responsibilities:

    Wash and clean vehicles thoroughly, both inside and out.Vacuum, shampoo, and clean interiors to remove dirt, stains, and odors.Wax and polish vehicles to enhance their appearance.Perform minor cosmetic touch-ups to ensure the vehicle's paint is flawless.Inspect vehicles for any additional detailing or cleaning needs.Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and equipment.Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.

    Requirements:

    Previous experience in car washing and detailing is preferred but not required.Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.Excellent communication skills.Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (if required).Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.

    Develop complete and accurate repair plans for each vehicle

    Prepare estimates in accordance with insurance partner and company guidelines

    Work closely with vendors and insurance partners to ensure efficient repairs and approvals

    Communicate supplements to customers and insurance companies the same business day they are written

    Maintain a 90%+ estimate conversion rate (most work is DRP-driven)

    Provide regular updates to customers on the progress of their repairs

    Collaborate with technicians and teammates to keep repairs moving efficiently

    Identify opportunities to improve shop processes and the overall customer experience

    Cross-train in other areas of the shop to support professional growth and advancement

    Experience with CCC ONE and Mitchell is helpful but not required.

    What We’re Looking For

    2+ years of estimating experience in a collision repair shop or insurance environment

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Excellent customer service and communication skills

    Basic computer proficiency

    Positive, team-focused attitude

    Ability to learn new repair procedures, technology, and vehicle specifications

    Strong math, reading, and problem-solving skills

    Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
