Responsibilities Provide prompt, efficient, quality service to all customers at all times Excellent attendance is expected, and call-ins must be made to your manager when you are unable to report to work Greet customers in a timely, friendly, and professional manner Answer all external and internal customer questions with honest and genuine concern Ensure that customer complaints are handled tactfully, promptly, with genuine concern, and according to dealership guidelines. Contact manager when appropriate Answer all phone calls promptly and route calls to appropriate parties. Messages will be taken when necessary. Process all financial transactions (cash, checks, or credit) and issue appropriate receipts Balance the cash, checks, and credit transactions daily Ensure that all cash, checks, keys, and confidential material are secured during your shift and at the end of the business day. Assist in other administrative duties including sorting and filing Qualifications Excellent listening/communication skills, outgoing and positive personality Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment Organizational skills to prioritize workload Experience in accounts payable/receivable tasks Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to learn new tasks and responsibilities, and willingness to ask for assistance and further training when necessary Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in MS Office Office experience preferred Benefits Medical, Dental Read Less

    Responsibilities

    Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status

    Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts

    Answer phone calls, and provide price quotes and other information to customers

    Review body shop estimates to verify the parts ordered are correct and that all pricing is in line with the estimate

    Provide high-level service to both internal and external customers

    Pull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure the accuracy of stock

    Notify the site manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention

    Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit an emergency order, if necessary

    Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on the service repair order

    Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma or equivalent and prior auto parts sales experience (preferred)

    Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment

    Strong interpersonal and time management skills

    Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents

    Ability to calculate figures/amounts including; discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, %, area, circumference, and volume

    Valid driver's license and clean driving record
