    The Electro-Mechanical Technician at Keurig Dr Pepper will be responsible for facilitation and leadership to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve process and packaging equipment, to maximize production and maintain Keurig Dr Pepper’s high standards in safety and quality. This role will also be engaged in improving maintenance procedures and manufacturing processes for the improvement of safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture.  

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.   Focus on Good Manufacturing and Food Safety practices in all work.Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.Wire moderately complex control circuits.Teach basic mechanical skills to line operators to support autonomous maintenance, TPM functions, equipment set-up and center lining.Fabricate, repair, and install hangers and all types of piping including hot/cold water, steam, process and condensate, utilizing formulas for all phases.Ability to quickly learn to weld and machine metals, plastics, and composites.Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for the repair or replacement of parts on equipment.Complete size changeovers and troubleshoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment.Identify root causes of mechanical, electrical and control failures and resolve with effective problem-solving tools with minimal downtime or supervision.Troubleshoot and program minor changes in Allen Bradley PLC (SLC500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix and ControlLogix).Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas.Demonstrate KDP values of Team First, Deliver Big, Think Bold, Being Fearless and Fair.
    Total Rewards:
    Pay starting at $40.74 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $42.84 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

    The Principal Automation Control Engineer under little or no supervision, chooses hardware, develops software and documentation. Verifies and maintains compliance to appropriate code and in-house standards and practices. Mentors junior level EMT’s, Electricians and manages 3rd party contractors. Recommends technical direction and new technologies. Utilizes ‘off the shelf’ and custom solutions to solve and improve manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoots, debugs, starts-up and maintains new and currently installed automated machines. Takes lead role and responsibility of major projects. Presents ideas and concepts to project stakeholders.

    Liaison

    Lead PLC/SCADA standardization across the manufacturing network

    Requirements:

    BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
    5+ Years of Industrial Automation experience in a manufacturing environment.
    Extensive PLC programming experience is required.  Prefer Allen-Bradley systems experience including, but not limited to, the Rockwell FactoryTalk suite of software, Logixplatform, and proficient understanding of Allen-Bradley industrial networks required.
    Good working knowledge of SCADA/HMI systems preferably GE iFix and and/or Ignition.

    Good working knowledge of robotic control systems, preferably GE-Fanuc.
    Possess a good understanding of computer and industrial networks.

    Siemens, Bosch & Rexroth, Beckhoff development experience a plus.
    Working knowledge of databases a plus.
    Familiar with PM, work order, and asset creation/management

    Position Responsibilities

    Observes equipment to make sure it is operating to OEM standard or production satisfaction.

    Answers maintenance calls in a timely fashion and assists others in troubleshooting.

    Performs routine PM’s, repairs, rebuilds and modifications on all equipment assigned

    Wire moderately complex control circuits.

    Performs electronic component replacement, substitution, set-up and calibration.

    Weld various types of metals.

    Identify problems and completes repairs, with minimal downtime or supervision.

    Troubleshoot 3ph 480V motors and VFDs.

    Completes any necessary paperwork associated with repairs or calibration.

    Completes Work Orders that are assigned to them or their department.

    Provides coverage and or assistance as needed throughout facility to meet production schedules and or equipment needs.

    Ensures that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety requirements and a focus on continuous improvement.

    Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices).

    Maintains a high level of safety awareness for an accident-free work place.
