    Join a Growing Building Automation & Smart Buildings Team

    We are seeking experienced and motivated BAS Installers, Controls Electricians, and Low Voltage Electricians to support a large-scale Building Automation System (BAS) installation project in Delta, Utah.

    The Ideal Candidates Comes From:

    Building Automation Systems (BAS)HVAC ControlsLow Voltage Electrical InstallationIndustrial or Commercial Electrical WorkSmart Building Technologies

    Team members will work onsite in Delta, Utah during the project week, with the ability to travel home on weekends.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Install EMT and rigid conduitPull and terminate low voltage and control wiringMount BAS control panels, sensors, devices, and controllersInstall and support HVAC controls infrastructureRead and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and control submittalsLabel and document installed systemsSupport startup and commissioning teamsMaintain safe and organized work areasCoordinate with project managers, electricians, and mechanical trades onsite

    Preferred Experience

    BAS installation experience preferredLow voltage electrical experienceCommercial or industrial electrical backgroundHVAC controls familiarityExperience with conduit bending and installationAbility to read blueprints and electrical schematicsOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferredValid driver's license and reliable transportation to reporting location

    About the Role

    Allied Mechanical is looking for a hands-on Electrical Superintendent who can do it all — estimate work, run jobs from start to finish, keep crews productive and schedules on track, and still put on a tool belt when the project demands it. This isn't a desk role. You'll be a key part of how we win work and deliver it, owning the field from bid to closeout. If you're the type who takes pride in knowing every phase of a project and won't ask a crew member to do something you wouldn't do yourself, we want to hear from you.

    What You'll Do

    Bid and estimate electrical scopes of work — quantity takeoffs, labor hour builds, material pricing, and subcontractor coordinationRun jobs end-to-end: manage schedules, coordinate with GCs and other trades, track labor costs, and hit milestonesKeep projects moving — proactively identify delays, material shortages, or scope issues and resolve them before they become problemsLead crews in the field and pick up tools when needed — this is a working superintendent roleRead and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and one-line diagrams; direct accurate field installationsEnforce safety standards and OSHA compliance on all job sites; lead toolbox talks and site safety auditsManage material procurement, equipment staging, and tool logistics to keep the job moving without interruptionMentor foremen, journeymen, and apprentices — hold the crew to high standards of craft, safety, and professionalismConduct quality control inspections throughout the project to ensure installations meet code and design intentMaintain daily field reports, timesheets, and project documentation

    Qualifications

    Required:

    5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical construction experienceProven ability to both bid/estimate and run electrical scopes of workComfortable working in the field alongside your crew - tool belt requiredStrong working knowledge of the applicable local electrical codesProficiency reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specs, and RFIsOSHA 30 certification (construction) or ability to obtain within 90 days of hireValid driver's license with a clean driving record (required — field travel is an essential function of this role)Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

    Preferred:

    Journeyman or Master Electrician license Background in commercial, industrial, or data center electrical construction
