Senior Project Manager
Construction Operations | Electrical, Low Voltage & Building Technology
Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager is a key leadership role responsible for the full lifecycle execution, financial performance, and
successful delivery of complex construction projects across electrical, low voltage, and building technology domains. This
position leads project teams from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule,
within budget, and in alignment with company standards and client expectations. The Senior Project Manager serves as a
primary point of contact between operations, finance, field teams, and clients, with accountability for estimating, change
order management, monthly project reviews, earned revenue, and continuous improvement of project controls and
processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Leadership & Execution: Lead multiple active construction projects from preconstruction through closeout;
ensure consistent execution of scope, schedule, quality, and safety standards; proactively resolve complex challenges,
escalations, and risks; drive thorough closeout, documentation, and lessons learned.
• Estimating, Change Orders & Financial Management: Oversee and validate project estimates and budgets;
develop and manage change order pricing strategies for accuracy, profitability, and contractual compliance; ensure
timely documentation, approval, and billing; partner with Finance to maintain accurate earned revenue, cost forecasts,
and revenue recognition.
• Project Profitability & Reviews: Conduct regular monthly project reviews to assess budget vs. actual performance,
cost-to-complete forecasts, gross margins, schedule impacts, and risk exposure; identify and implement corrective
actions for any underperforming areas; provide clear project performance reporting to leadership.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and support project teams, coordinators, and junior staff; set clear
expectations, provide coaching, and foster accountability and continuous improvement; contribute to workforce
planning and knowledge sharing within the project management function.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as a senior point of contact and escalation for key clients and strategic
projects; manage client relationships, expectations, and communications; participate in high-level project meetings and
negotiations; ensure high client satisfaction while protecting company interests and project profitability.
• Process Improvement, Risk & Compliance: Identify opportunities to improve project controls, documentation,
financial tracking, and standard operating procedures; drive consistency and standardization; oversee risk
management, contractual compliance, safety regulations, building codes, and quality assurance across assigned
projects.
Minimum Qualifications
• Strong electrical construction background required, with demonstrated experience in low voltage and building
technology systems.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is welcomed — ability to lead, mentor, and communicate effectively with field crews,
subcontractors, and clients in both languages.
• Proven experience with project estimating, budgeting, change order management, and revenue recognition.
