Working closely with the team and Director, this role emphasizes growing youth participation, shaping curriculum, and delivering a fun, skill-building experience for junior golfers. The Coordinator also supports the broader KUGCC mission and adult programming as a peer to the instructor staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: KUGCC
Collaborate with the KUGCC Director and staff instructors to ensure junior programs, clinics, and events meet and exceed standards of excellence.Coordinate with First Tee and other local, state, and national junior golf organizations to schedule events, facilitate training, and develop partnerships.Serve as a liaison to professional associations (PGA/LPGA Professionals, LPGA-USGA Girls Golf, LPGA Women's Amateur, First Tee, US Kids, and others) to expand opportunities for KUGCC juniors.Help design and deliver a holistic, student-centered junior golf curriculum focused on skill development, advancement criteria, equipment, fitness, health, and life skills-creating "players" who love the game.Track, update, and submit junior participant records in Bitrix24; manage liability waivers; create marketing flyers; and assist with junior-related website content each week.Support the KU Flagship marketing team on campaigns and outreach related to junior programming.Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with key partners (PGA of America, LPGA, SFPGA, USGA, youth golf foundations, local schools, and community organizations).Represent KUGCC at youth golf association events/camps, including First Tee, US Kids, Black Girls Golf, Wounded Warriors, LPGA Women's Amateur, PBC Parks and Recreation, Police Athletic League, Hook-A-Kid on Golf, PGA Coach, PGA Summer Camps, etc.Work with the KUGCC Director and team to organize logistics for junior programs: registration, scheduling, transportation, lesson plans, equipment maintenance/storage, training, and golf excursions on/off campus.Communicate with the Keiser University College of Golf Program Director to coordinate facility and resource usage for junior activities.Attend all KUGCC and KUCOG staff meetings as a collaborative team member.Meet as needed with KU activities, housing, and food/beverage directors to coordinate resources for junior events.Ensure timely completion and submission of HR documentation, liability waivers, and incident reports in line with KU policy.Support adult and all-ages golf programs as needed, operating at the staff instructor level within the team.Other duties as required.Job Requirements:

The Assistant Athletic Trainer will:
Provide onsite coverage as an athletic trainer for all varsity and JV athletic events at home and away as assigned. Conduct assessments of injuries and provide emergency and/or continued care, provide on-site rehabilitation and determine when referral to physician is warranted for all athletic related injuries. Evaluate athletes' readiness to play and provide participation clearances when necessary after injury as well as for pre-participation physicals. Assist in the managing and maintaining of the athletic training facility, equipment, supplies and related budget. Assist in the development of relationships with local health care professionals and refer student-athletes, as necessary. Report the progress of recovering athletes to coaches and physicians regularly. Assist the Head Athletic Trainer in the insurance processing, billing and claim identification processes. Work with 3rd party insurance provider to ensure that all student-athletes are covered by an independent primary health insurance policy and that student-athletes complete a physical examination prior to the start of athletic participation and/or competition.
