    Keeley Construction is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to our Civil team to contribute to the overall success of the group throughout the planning, budgeting, construction and post-construction project phases of multiple projects.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Manage risk in relation to job-site safety, owner contractual terms, city and/or county specifications, and other contractors that could be working on-site.
    • Create, update, and distribute the project schedule to ensure project milestones are met.
    • Work with suppliers and field supervision to coordinate material needs. Ensure that materials meet specifications and that packing slips match quantity delivered.
    • Work with estimators to organize a pre-construction meeting with key supervisors in operations to assist in the productive progress of a project.
    • Facilitate change orders and closeout documentation with clients.
    • Communicate and coordinate with local municipal inspectors, consulting firms, engineering firms, owner representatives, and local utilities.
    • Schedule subcontractors when needed and manage effective communication to avoid delays in operations.
    • Coordinate resources with other project managers, general superintendent, project engineer, etc.
    • Document all project impacts in relation to the project schedule, budget, and plans. Communicate these impacts to Business Unit Leader and owner or owner's representative.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus a minimum of five years of experience performing primary responsibilities listed above.
    • Proficient with Outlook, Excel and Word is a plus.
    • Background of technical skills and understanding of heavy civil construction projects.
    • Ability to build and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, vendors, and clients.

    Keeley Construction is looking to hire a Project Director to oversee our Water/Wastewater projects for our Heavy Civil business unit in New Braunfels, TX.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Manage the day-to-day operations and P&L for the water/wastewater market sector and provide strategic direction to successfully achieve the group's success and overall strategic goals.
    • Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of the business unit. This includes being proficient in estimating, scheduling, quality control, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, proposal preparation, and leading the design team.
    • Identify and manage risk of people, business, contracts, and insurance.
    • Hold general knowledge of legal practice and requirements in the industry.
    • Build a bench of strong managers and superintendents that strengthen the business unit's success.
    • Develop and nurture effective and lasting customer/client relationships. Maintain high level relationships within the business, owners and engineers, old/new projects, and opportunities.
    • Hold ability to pre-sell work.
    • Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors.
    • Coordinate with the project managers and superintendents to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule.
    • Conduct progress meetings with owners and the design/construction team.
    • Ability to accurately assess profit/loss responsibility and current financial status for the market sector.
    • Deliver top and bottom-line results.
    • Build and implement effective marketing initiatives, in conjunction with senior leadership, to drive positive revenue growth.
    • Develop & implement strategic plans for the business unit, while understanding competition, opportunities, and people in the business.
    • Oversee a project portfolio.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • 10+ years in water/wastewater construction or a related industry performing the similar primary responsibilities listed.
    • Strong leadership and management skills in managing an organization, department, or group.
    • Advanced with Microsoft Office Suite.

    We are looking to hire an Estimating Manager for our Civil Infrastructure Group in St. Louis, MO.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage the estimating team for mid-size projects, ensuring accurate cost estimates and clear scope definitions for all components.
    • Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and contract documents to identify potential risks, opportunities, and critical estimating factors.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and verify that all scope items are covered.
    • Analyze historical cost data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to improve the accuracy of cost estimates.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive cost database to streamline the estimating process and ensure consistency across projects.
    • Act as a subject matter expert in core estimating processes such as earthwork takeoffs, sitework analysis, and other specialized cost estimation areas.
    • Oversee and support the use of estimating software tools, including Agtek, HeavyBid, and other relevant programs, to improve estimating efficiency and accuracy.
    • Standardize estimating methodologies within the team and provide recommendations for continuous process improvements.
    • Assist in formulating preconstruction strategies, budgetary exercises, and value engineering initiatives to align project estimates with financial goals.
    • Research and monitor key market sectors (federal, municipal, private) to track potential bid opportunities and market shifts.
    • Collaborate with business development teams to assess project feasibility, competitiveness, and win strategies for proposals.
    • Support proposal writing with detailed technical content, pricing breakdowns, and estimation insights to ensure compelling and accurate submissions.
    • Participate in bid reviews, conduct site visits, and engage in meetings with field leadership to ensure accurate project scope understanding and alignment.
    • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure accurate and timely cost estimates, aligned with project execution.
    • Mentor and provide professional guidance to Estimator I team members, helping develop their skills and fostering team growth.
    • Drive continuous professional development within the estimating department, encouraging the use of KeeleyU and other resources for leadership and technical training.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus a minimum of 10 years of experience performing primary responsibilities listed above.
    • Experience in self-perform civil construction is required, preference for excavation and utilities.
    • Ability to build and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, vendors, and clients.
    • Experience using HCSS, Bluebeam.
