Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a deep knowledge of all construction sub-trades. This position plays a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to plans and specifications. Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee all daily construction activities at the job site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Maintain a safe and clean jobsite in compliance with OSHA standards.
Communicate effectively with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
Interpret and execute construction blueprints, plans, and specifications accurately.
Ensure high standards of workmanship that adhere to original project designs and specifications.
Maintain accurate daily reports, timesheets, and update project schedules regularly.
Verify the scope of work completed by subcontractors and ensure alignment with contract requirements.
Foster a positive and productive jobsite environment with a focus on teamwork and efficiency.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by project demands.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Oversee supervision in key areas, including civil and MEPs (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), which are crucial to the commercial aspect of construction.
Proven track record as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
In-depth knowledge of all commercial construction sub-trades.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading, construction documents, and specifications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
Familiarity with construction safety practices and OSHA regulations.
Proficient in maintaining project documentation and scheduling tools.
