This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and facility systems; servicing HVAC units; performing basic electrical repairs; completing preventative maintenance and documentation; ordering parts and supplies; supporting facility upkeep; operating a variety of industrial equipment; partnering with department leaders to address maintenance needs; ensuring quality and safety compliance; and supporting overall manufacturing objectives. What s a Typical Day Like? Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation Service and maintain heating, cooling, and rooftop HVAC units Perform basic electrical repairs and diagnostics Complete preventative maintenance and maintain accurate maintenance records per quality procedures Order parts and supplies needed to complete maintenance tasks efficiently Partner with department leaders to address maintenance needs in a timely manner Operate a wide range of equipment, including: Electric meters Welders, shears, brake machines Fork trucks and high-lift equipment Drills, band saws, torches Overhead cranes Follow all quality management system practices and safety procedures Verify accuracy and quality of completed work Perform general facility maintenance and repairs as needed Understand how your role contributes to overall manufacturing objectives You may also assist in training new or temporary employees when needed. What Are the Requirements of the Job? This role is responsible for conducting plant safety audits and walkthroughs, supporting safety, health, and environmental programs, delivering safety training, responding to workplace accidents and incidents, maintaining safety and medical documentation, coordinating with HR and corporate safety teams, supporting workers compensation compliance, and championing safety culture across all levels of the plant. What s a Typical Day Like? Conduct plant safety audits, plant walk through, safety spot checks related to company PPE, Safety Policies and Procedures. Assist in plant safety, health and environment programs as needed (may require additional training). Conduct plant safety training when required (e.g., Alchemy). Must be able to handle any type of accident that occurs at the facility and may also help with personal medical issues (may require additional training). Working knowledge and understanding of recordable and non-recordable injuries, near-miss incidents, and solutions for prevention (may require additional training). Maintain or become a First Aid, CPR, BBP and AED certified first responder. Must work aligned as a team partner with HR and the Safety Department in Tennessee plant. This position is responsibilities include using precision measuring instruments, performing equipment testing, interpreting mechanical drawings, conducting quality inspections, preparing products for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. What s a Typical Day Like? Work with a team to assemble, troubleshoot, and repair company equipment Use precision measuring instruments and gauges Perform equipment testing Interpret mechanical drawings Conduct quality inspections on products and parts Prepare finished products for shipment Maintain a clean and orderly work area What Are the Requirements of the Job? Experienced in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields for 2-4 years Experienced with 5T-15T overhead cranes Familiar with assembly tools and metal shop equipment Experience with basic hand tools Mathematically and mechanically inclined. Able to handle physical workload Able to pass a drug test and background check Able to work with minimum supervision in a multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in fast-paced environment. Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs. Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel. Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
