Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Sheetmetal Fabricator for our client. This job is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and inspection of sheet metal components in a manufacturing environment while consistently demonstrating the company’s Core Values. This role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.What’s a Typical Day Like?Take ownership of assigned fabrication tasks from start to finish with minimal supervisionUtilize proper setup, sequencing, and fabrication methods to ensure efficient, high-quality productionDemonstrate professionalism, reliability, accountability, and strong work ethic in daily activitiesRead, interpret, and follow blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, labels, and work instructionsFabricate sheet metal components using appropriate fabrication equipment and hand toolsPerform measurements, inspections, and quality checks to ensure products meet tolerances and design specificationsDevelop sketches and perform shop calculations as needed to improve fabrication accuracy and efficiencySelect materials based on durability, strength, and application requirementsMaintain accurate paperwork and production documentationMeet production schedules and quality expectations in a fast-paced environmentCommunicate effectively with Shop Foreman and Department Leads using 3-way communication to confirm work assignmentsCollaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlinesMaintain a positive, respectful, and team-oriented attitudeFollow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulationsMaintain a clean and organized work areaPerform all work in a manner that protects the safety and well-being of employees and others in the facilityWhat Are the Requirements of the Job?High School Diploma or GED requiredCompletion of a company-sponsored apprenticeship program or a minimum of 2 years of sheet metal or fabrication shop experience preferredBasic knowledge of HVAC drawings and system design preferredAbility to read and interpret fabrication drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail and accuracyBasic math and shop calculation skillsMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionCommitment to safety and quality standardsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to walk and move throughout the facility during shiftsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and over 100 lbs. with assistance or lifting devicesAbility to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, push, pull, and reach throughout the workdayAbility to utilize hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentIndoor manufacturing/shop environmentExposure to varying temperatures depending on seasonal conditionsLoud work environment with hearing protection available as neededExposure to fabrication equipment, machinery, and moving mechanical partsWhy Choose Kable Workforce Solutions?Weekly PayExclusive Access Opportunities to V.I.P.
